I have an Dell XPS 13 with QHD and Touch. I do net regret choosing this one compared to the FHD version - I was standing before exact the same decision. As @lamka02sk says, energy consumption is not quite high. Also, when using it for development most likely the ide you're using will take more than the screen when it comes to compiling etc. Mine holds quite long, so choose the 4K - the better resolution has more advantages, even when coding 🤗

Towards the forced Gmail login, they most probably just use a "mailto:" link where your default mail handler gets opened (e.g. Outlook, but it's also possible to set Gmail web). 🤗

@M1sf3t this is not caused by the number of questions but the quality of the questions. If you ask several (very) bad questions those receive a negative score (very) quickly the account will get limited. So the message is not that perfectly written, but it is the political correct one ;)

@Ancalagon indeed, have this problem with the Mi 8 just a week ago. Well but at least this is now the only prequisite and you are able to unlock it. Not long ago you had to apply for one of the special groups in the forum and get successfully "recruited" to gain the rights to unlock the bootloader. Luckily I got recruited so I was able to unlock my devices since then. So still not perfect but it has been worse, too. 🤗
