I feel it's unfair to criticize the ranter unless you've actually lived the situation he's describing. In my organization everyone gets a laptop by default (and a very crappy one at that) and nothing gets done 'cause the damn things can't handle VS Studio plus SQL Developer and SAS Enterprise Guide multitasking. So when I found out my new job role would include analyzing big data and coding, I turned that crap in for a desktop and two monitors.

Now everyone asks me for query favors 😂

@thoxx I used PL/SQL Developer exclusively, then I tried TOra...Altova DatabaseSpy Pro...dbForge...if you can afford $89 bucks a year ($71 2nd year and then $53 after that), DataGrip has no equal...
