Add use of ram as well
-
Just found this, thought to share it here
https://twitter.com/simongarm/... -
@BroCow back in the day, when I was in a team using sailsjs, waterline was removed for sequelize. Gotta fix a hook (in their repo) for M-M relations myself. We faced some problems as well
-
Yes. Absolutely worth it.
Also, yes! -
@bittersweet didnt know what to expect when started reading it and cant stop laughing
-
@RevThwack in my case the latter
-
Missed rust too
-

Shouting. Own ur time. U want to make a break because u are stuck? Nobody is watching go to have a 5min walk or simply stop typing.
You can be flexible, so more productive
Let's say you have 5 issues or tasks, if you finished them at 3pm there you go.
You could travel, you can organise better. -
I would say neo4j if you have enough numbers of relations or you want to find patterns in the data (neo4j user myself)
MongoDb if you dont know the model yet
Or the model you need to represent doesnt need special contraints and restrictions.
MySQL well, I would go with Postgres but if everything is well defined and you need integrity and contraints
Again, IMO -
@Ashkin exactly, why?
-
@Ashkin I tried to explain him
That that design for db is wrong
But coo + ceo love him
And he is the new *vp engineer*
Which makes him the knight of shinny armour in the office.
" And he did the db sooo quick!!" (AND WRONG!!!)
Anyways, it will go wrong as you mentioned and i will have pop corn -
Theoretically "go with the tool tht you are faster or more productive with "
IMO? Vim (probably with tmux) -
Mmm IMO a nice first language is python
And if you want to learn a general purpose lang (C#, Java) I would go with C++ or Rust.
What industry you want to go? Like web dev or systems or ? -
@eshwarenm oh well, then react has better approach than Angular IMO

Things like this... -
Stay away from js
-
@mrtnrdl I was trying to find macbook or os x or something in layout but in another menu for the keyboard they have english - Macintosh so all keys are normal now
-
Late 2014. Didnt have any problems either
But the key mapping (@ was where | and ~ was miscplaced too)
Well, I had to install the wifi (thanks broadcomp for being private drivers)
With tethering -
I got it working in macbook
It took me few attempts to set the keyboard (actually a fedora guy and friend did it) -
Spain, it's the same.
"Yes, you got nice skills but no experience"
Can I get it in the role?
"You need the experience to get the role" -
Or.....user needs to understand windows.
Then switch to something, *cough* linux, else -
It's the rant of shrodinger,
It's a rant and not a rant until I check. -
My first job, during uni, was similar.
Installing Windows..., fixing printer, config email clients... no paid. I did it because I needed the credits.
Do what you gotta do and move where you like -
Who says we ain't looking for another?
-
It depends on what you want to do.
There are bugs/issues in big projects with "easy" label so people can join and do stuff
What language do you prefer or what area you want to focus? -
@0x41414141 he usually doesnt do tests.
He was having a conversation about to change how he backend sends json to frontend because he needs to know the code of the error if there is an error,
So his suggestion was:
{
Code: String, // for error
{
Object // if success
}
}
I asked him why he needed that in addition to http status code and he complained -
http://blog.mbrt.it/2016-12-01-ripg...
faster than grep -
Fedora. Same reasons named before.
It works, you dont have to deal with crashes or broken stuff because if packages or anything. Simply not buggy.
