Good news! There is hardly any good code to train an AI with.
-
@jespersh AI is already optimizing AI models. Sure it will be fine 🤷♂️
-
@vintprox trex is worth a play
-
Sounds like a win, corporate workplaces are awful
-
Oh and feel at ease that you know nothing, cause you do know nothing and that is how a new codebase feels.
-
Pair with someone on a few tasks? Get a good overview of the code and record a video and watch it a couple of times.
-
Works best if you are in the master branch.
-
@AleCx04 the most annoying thing is that I bet I said that in my youth. Thank fuck for growing old
-
'How do I get a girl?'. You don't, girls are people. You don't 'get' people. People may like you and want to talk to you. Sometimes people like you so much that they want to be intimate. If 'get' is all you are capable of go pay someone to pretend to like you....rant over but ffs
-
@whiskey0 glad it's not just me ;)

Perfect team for me is 3 engineers. One senior, 1 dev and 1 junior. If the project is too big for three, divide and conquer and make new teams. If you need a meeting the team is too big for my liking. My current team is 2 and we have achieved at least double what my previous team of 5 were managing.

You get a ++ for being local peeps
-
Two old friends both have face scars, glad it is getting better. Living in fife most arguments are about livestock
-
In that instance I would not have accepted the offer. Far too loaded a question, I waited for a good moment and left.
-
In Scotland which team you support actually means are you catholic or protestant. People get stabbed on the street for answering 'incorrectly'. I forgot to mention that
-
I heard people have friends, apparently, you have to be 'nice' for it to work.
-
@vintprox Sorry evil was a little bit strong ;) My experience is that when I'm explicit I get less tricky to find errors.
-
Typescript. Easy to use, moderately easy to setup and I have never looked back. Plain javascript just feels risky to me now.
-
@Benedikt These days I prefer to be explicit, having been hurt so royally by javascripts evil interpretation of !variable as
0, null, undefined, false, NaN and of course empty string. -
If you wrote a class I'd dump you ;)
Unless it was c++... -
Buttery smooth current?
