it prob too late cause u gotta do it before the journals get overwritten, but next time try using ext4magic (assuming it was ext. if not there other data recovery) to recover the data. I did somthing similar to you ( thought I was in a home subfolder, turns out I was in /.) On a related note if u want to delete something so it can NOT be recovered, use shred command.

I think it has something to do with our base10 decimal system vs calculator/machine base2 (binary) repesentation of base10 number. So "close enough" is as acurate as is possible. But javascript does have some odd quirks lol.

maybe jamming.but theres plenty if other fun pifm possibilities , and if you have a amature radio license (as I do) it possible to keep it "legal". But keep in mind most things that are fun in life are "illegal" and what is "illegal" today may not be tommorow.

Im beginning a new career in webdev myself. After fighting with wp for abt a week and unsucessfully trying to persuade my employer to switch to djangocms (since Im a hobby pythonisto, and it a very small company) I have to say this quote sums up my feelings exactly. (In my case I was givin the wp environment already set up with shitloads of redundant plugins and no documention to help sort through the whole spagettifiedanalklusterfuq.)

Idk who said anything about having an asocial personality making you a better (or worse for that matter) dev.. BUT I will say that theres no phsycological BS with code, no hidden agenda. What you see is what you get. Ive never had a code snippit try and manipulate me.. but hey, that just me...
