Same thing happened to me but in my case it was written in Matlab and had a ton of bugs. I was too lazy to implement the paper in python. So I had to fix the code in Matlab and that was the first and last time I used Matlab.

@-red I tried Antergos while hopping distro and liked PACMAN,AUR and Arch Wiki. My antergos installation broke after updating it. Then I decided to install arch step by step by following wiki to know what is happening behind the scenes. I never looked back since then(about 1 year ago)

@MrCSharp Are you trying to say that control panel doesn't keep track of the programs that are not installed by exe files and its job is to keep track of programs that are installed by msi files?
