Both are super nice! Atom was winning over my love for sublime but then I began to have problems where atom wasn't remembering my config for indentation for specific files and that was it! I switched back to sublime. That was a long time ago though, probably the bug was fixed already... *dusts of atom*

I personally prefer S Q L, but it really depends on each person. except in cases like MySQL which specify pronunciation:

use both! vim is great to check very large files and to work in remote boxes and sublime is very comfortable and has a lot of productivity plugins that help you get the most out of your local env.

With time you'll end up learning several languages anyway. Carry on the good learning and it will be easy to switch to other languages later.
