My gf had her laptop not properly getting an ip lately and me setting a static ip didn't work, but then this stuff found a solution and set it to a static ip, which worked
Was surprised that these sometimes do work and that mine didn't

Very much understandable, but still win8 is the worst in any terms of these three we have that on most work laptops (i have nothing to say)
