@TerriToniAX "to the meat grinder!" 😈
-
@jestdotty and yet the whole idea of what you're talking about is inherently murican: anarchy. Muricans love their idea of anarchy
-
@jestdotty Ew, murican much?
-
Utopia
🤷♂️ -
@Lensflare it's not dev job related at all
-
@BordedDev nah, I'd rather speak to a wall or myself. Well, I already do that anyway. Just delusions rising up at random times.

@CaptainRant frankly, planning poker is borderline useless: either all more or less agree, because all know what the task is, or the estimate will be false and off by a lot, because no one knows clearly what the task is. Discussions are good and should be held if they are meaningful, but most tasks, from my experience, don't require them.
-
Isn't the second one about trust? They give you estimates - you take them without doubts. The first one is micromanagement/scepticism and not trust, and frankly annoying unless there's actually something to discuss and not just "justify to me the time, because i don't believe you"
-
@donkulator LOL
-
you can downvote those ad-rants to hide them
-
@antigermanist wrong. You can have a fully functional html+css page with zero jubascript
-
@lorentz yeah, if a class is just a placeholder to one parameter with a specific value, it's pretty much the same bad thing and is in no way better
-
the main argument is maintainability. if you have logical functional css classes, which define the style of a specific class of elements instead of just some specific parameter, then it will be much more maintainable and able to change if needed, instead of hunting each inline style application and changing that
also style consistency is much easier to achieve if you apply the same class to elements instead of ad-hocking every element -
@NotJeckel how about you fuck off?
-
@antigermanist i'd argue that no CSS should be applied via a script. that's contrary to how it all should work in the first place. the layout should remain at least semi-functional without any script active

😈

Becoming a blank slate would probably be better than proceeding
-
@Hazarth i disagree. If you don't make it hard or bad for anyone around you should be free to be as much of a pig as you want.
-
@Lensflare the only problem with replacing people with robots in capitalism, which will crumble if people do not work and do not create money movement
-
no. why?
-
@jestdotty it's not about typing, but whatever
-
@jestdotty dunno what happens in your world, but in the real world work does not exist only on "braindead" and "extremely complicated" levels.
-
because people are redundant and mostly harmful
-
@jestdotty even simple practice is still practice. it's easy to forget some patterns (not the OOP patterns, but in general) if you don't use them often enough. even if it's not something extremely complicated, it's still some task solving
-
@tosensei "to accept islam"?
-
@jestdotty not waste, but practice programming. even if the result is not released it's still some experience
-
@myss he was just someone from the start. there were others with a lot of points as well. even i had a lot before deleting previous account
-
seems like so
-
so what?
