Big mood CSS is so fucken temperamental but so good at the same time 🥴
-
This is like a daily for me 10/10 cry every god damn time
-
Update: I got the job!
-
@linux if I wasn't using code I wouldn't be on this app, I thought that would of been evident, and if you had of checked my bio you would of seen the language I know and the fact that I'm a sysadmin as well so if shit went south with my site I ain't gonna be a fucking bumpy and not know what to do. The reason it pisses me off so much is because even the people who are fluent in web development(ie myself) still get flack for using Wordpress. Like how is it any different to using shit like Joomla, Drupal etc
-
@linux so even though I can still create full customised web apps and websites with or with out Wordpress it doesn't make me a web dev? Where's the sense in that.
-
Looks like our fellow dev was doing n a bit of a shitty situation there!
-
Proper posted something similar like this yesterday, it's honestly so painful lmao
-
Holy shit lmao
-
@ludwig gets kind of addictive lmao
-
Hey welcome to devRant! It's basically a place to rant about anything relating to being a dev! Say you're having a problem with a app you are working on and spend two hours trying to figure out what's wrong and finally figure out that it's all because of a misspelled word or something, that's where devRant comes in handy where you can come get shit off your chest.
It's kind of therapeutic lmao. Oh if you want to post something that isn't a rant just put !rant before it. -
@prehistoricoreo oml lmao I can't say I've had some one fall asleep while I'm talking coding jargon yet! That's great 😂
-
@dfox in with the real talk
-
Yeh I know them feels and it sucks I feel ya, you can always try seeing if there's any like coding community or just any kind of IT community around you can attach to. Even though it is cool to physically sit down with people and get feedback I find getting feedback from people online is just is good also.
Ultimately you could just get ya mates interested in coding/tech savvy shit but just talking about it to them enough lmao. -
I talk to my mum about how annoying and naive clients are and how I honestly feel like telling them to shove it most the time and she's like "you wouldn't actually say that would you" in reply I said when you getting the same shit every day you get pretty tempted to say more then that. This here is a great example lmao
-
@PoweredByCoffee my life lmao
-
I'm new to devRant and just found this and I'd like to say thank you for standing up for us small guys. You sir are a hero!
-
Have fun once you hit the cold shakes side of things, going cold turkey from coding is a hard time lmao
-

-
I could go for one of those tbh lmao
-
Yeh man was one of the first things we were taught in our cert course was how to make a print friendly web page using alternative CSS! Kinda helpful but don't think it's utilised as much.
-
@FitzSuperUser I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes! Cheers for the support though dude
-
I try to utilise comic sans in all my websites tbh <.<
