I started at 26 as well, and couldn't be happier. You'll do great!

Happened to me with DELETE. It can have a payload, but some libraries don't implement it, and some servers even ignore it. GET and DELETE should get all the information required from the url they use.
-
#1. Started one month ago though. It is regular so far, hope it stays this way!

Or they get unanswered for years...

Good luck!! Sounds like a really big task for only a week. Consider renegotiating that deadline just in case.
-
Thank you everyone!!
-
I was scared for a second. It's still Tuesday here.

@wateringdisease Your comment on the illegal competition was very interesting. I never thought about ot that way. Thanks for sharing!
-
That's awesome! Good luck!!

That's bad. Even if you love coding, you shouldn't do work beyond your hours. What happens if he burns out? That doesn't work for anyone.
In my opinion, you need to tell him to change that behavior. -
I use Chrome, but I have to admit Firefox is pretty nice as well. I often switch between both.
-
The more I work with Angular, the more I want to learn React. I feel like there's more information and community around it.
-
My condolences
-
@frozentruth Indeed. The comment is valid. New line here, space here, etc. What I hate is when I have to constantly repeat those comments in many subsequent PRs...

Git not installed? O:

I wouldn't say that makes you a bad programmer. You still are a good programmer!
All those problems are similar, client requirements are similar, so the solution is similar as well. No need to reinvent the wheel there.
If what motivates you is to learn and apply new things and face diverse problems to solve, then that work environment doesn't helps. I hope you can find a more suitable one!
Again, don't say you "were" a good programmer. You still are! -
Happy Birthday! Have a great day!
-
@Loading Yeah. I'm not kidding. It was the informatics class of electronic engineering. The professors were awful. I'm getting flashbacks. I need to rant about this.
-
@Loading Low contrast darker background. I'm in.
-
@starrynights89 In university we used to write C in paper. It was hell.
-
Sorry to hear. You did what you could, now it's time to get some sleep. You'll have another chance later! Sleep well and don't burn out.

I think every site that targets developers should have a dark theme available. I wonder what's the use percentage between the light and dark themes here.
-
I miss the old Windows image viewer. With the new one, before the image loads, I have enough time to think that the image got corrupted or something, panic about it and curse a lot.
-
That's awesome! Looks great!
I didn't reach any milestone this weekend. I needed to finish writing a chapter of my thesis and procrastinated all the time... -
Stick with ES6

Welcome! This is a really nice place indeed!

I love the gopher mascot! Here are some official pencil ones: https://golang.org/doc/gopher/...

I was playing around with Gitlab pages (using Hugo) and Netlify the other day. I don't have a solid experience, but it looked amazing. I'd recommend that approach.
