The other day my girlfriend said that i could learn French in two weeks and proceeded to be preplexed when I said that obviously I couldn't.

She actually believed that me being able to learn a programing language In a week or two meant I could do it with any language.

We had to write an essay about the pros and cons of electronic devices and if they could replace books.

One of my arguments was that you can reduce the weight that you have to carry because a smartphone / tablet doesn't get heavier when you load more books onto them while on the other hand you would have to carry more physical books with you.
