Appreciate you clear vision, fucking devs. It sucks for us to be powerless without eyeglasses. Fuck this shit! Fuck it.4

Not 100% of dev nature:
- Got an informal interview a few days ago: Got me super happy.
- Another 2 recruiters on LinkedIn showed interest: Made me happy.
- Psychometric & technical tests popped today: Feel like failed them completely.
- 2 more career days coming up: Not all hope is lost.
- Lack of portofolio and job experience: Brain is stuck and emotionally being meh. Maybe I wasn't meant to be a dev. :-/
I've just wanted to let it out of my system. Thanks for reading it. :-)2 -
My friends and I should be studying for our finals. Instead we're laying around talking about programming. Life is good.3

Paid for a private school in my country (France) cause public isn't so great.
After 3 years, realize that it was more bullshit than school so continue to paid until the last year to get diploma.
At the end, I was on Udemy to buy lessons and learn. Was way much cheaper than my school but since it's hard here without diploma, I had to finish scholarship...2 -
Hey guys
I'm starting my first programming intern job in a week.
It's a big company and have many projects and they liked me because I knew some Java from college.
I obviously have no industry Java experience but am looking to review the book used in my class & the projects I did.
I'm still kinda nervous a little cuz I don't have any idea what it's going to be like.
What could be advised to do while waiting a week? Any good Java brush up idea
Thanks3 -
Compared to some developers our problems are acute. Compared to some developers our problems are very cute.

Every time I want to learn new technology I spend whole day just installing and reinstalling and then I end up with reinstalling whole linux, because 1 lil' thing doesn't work. Am I alone?5

Stuck in tutorial hell....
I have a list of ideas for applications I want to create but I always feel like I never know enough to start them. So I end up signing up for another tutorial from most of the popular sites to only skip pass all 50-60%. Has anyone ever experienced this? I'm open for suggestions to get pass this!!15
