@Codex404 Ohh okay. That makes so much more sense. I'm a total noob at frontend but since there's no one to do it, I was tasked with it anyway. And the designer just send me a design (which is complicated to me probably because of my incompetency) and asked me to implement it. It doesn't follow the 12 grid structure that I could have pulled off. There's only the desktop design and I'm supposed to wing the mobile and tablet as I go. To make things worse, I'm using a page builder on WordPress to do it because the client wants to be able to reuse elements using these blocks on the page builder.

Maybe he was hoping you'd come up with the product for his business plan.

@Fast-Nop can't do that. The company will spend a lot of money on me (apparently) to convert my student visa to employee visa so I have a moral commitment to stay there for a year atleast. That's that they tell me. And there's no probationary period because I've already worked 5 months as an intern.

@jurion hey thanks but I might need more complicated ones. Like titles that slide out when you scroll up or down, titles that intersect images and change colour at the intersected section etc etc.

Haha, I've come to realise this too. I'm really big of friendship but more often than not, when you really need it, you often end up having the support of random strangers than your own best buds. xD

@irene haha I do agree, it's kinda stupid to give someone that kind of control over you. I don't literally mean die really, I kinda like my life but you get the drift.

Lesson: if you go to a developer's place who you know works from home, try to avoid sitting on anything comfortable.

@Nanos @irene I've tried the different options and I find the wrong people who give me some amount of attention is better than nothing. I put up with their shit in exchange for human interaction. xD

And yeah, I'm not against arranged marriages as such. But it would have been nice to have a choice. Or if my potential match wasn't restricted by geography, language, religion, caste and friggin place and time of birth.
