@Jilano outside the topic but, man I have been living in Germany for over 8 years, but those damned keyboard of yours is still kicking my ass. Once after a 7 hours of programming I have noticed half of my z's as y mixed. since it was half, I couldn't just use change all... One of the worst coding moments I had...

@elcore I want weight in on the privacy is an human right situation. I do believe it is human right but still I think people needs to take their tinfoil hats of a bit. Yes Google Allo doest use E2EE on daily massages because it is not convenient to do so. Google stores your daily chat in their encrypted servers for further use. But you can still open up another chat bar for E2EE chat. It's not like that they post my sarcastic and a little bit sad come on massages on Twitter. Also you need to remember that this is the company that most of us are entrusting our mails, calander, pictures, location through Android, every single work document I have on cloud, basically every single digital footprint we have is through Google. I think they can handle some more.
-
@elcore that's nice I am glad you decided to give it a shot.If you people using Allo I don't think you will regret it.
-
@minigeek yeah she is really chill.
-
@elcore E2EE is not needed for a daily chat app, I don't know why people are so obsessed about security. If you don't want your chat logs in stored encrypted in a Google database (which what WhatsApp does with the backup and shit.) and to be E2EEted You can always use incognito mode.

@ganapativs A lot of my co-workers use Google Allo. Never seen a duo user except a Pixel owner. But I frequently use Google Allo.
-
@elcore as a huge Google fan boy, use allow it's definitely the best messaging app out there.
-
Hey I am fat and ugly af. But I have over confidence which is nice(doesn't work that much with girls btw).
-
Interestingly, the new Google assistant in the pixel recognizes Siri aber Not Cortana...

@ohYogi If I worked at NASA I wouldn't use that for my personal gain. Jk I would torrent the shit out of it. And possibly use 2048 bit encryption on every page, not that it will do anything, i just think It would fun to see a single webpage which is like 4gigs. Would propably require a special browser tho I don't think any browser can handle that much temp.

@lisper done that 2 years ago when I found my old college hard drive I suddenly had this obsession to fix them all. That when I realized, I was an ignorant arrogant fuck. I remember arguing with the my professor for my grade when I didn't even use the proper class in c... Who knows maybe 10 years later I will do the same to my current projects...

@kurtr Great advices man, you should have a section where guys like you could teach dimwits like me some common sense :).
-
@ohYogi WoW man 2 GB is really good, especially in Germany, do they specify the d/u speeds? Btw I answered in English because I don't know the Devrant's policy on Non English languages

Want me to make you jealous? This was my basic dorm internet when I was doing my masters in Germany :P
-
This was my basic internet speed when I was doing my masters in Germany. It was the internet they gave away in the wohnheims.
-
Same with mechanical keyboards, it gets annoying as well when you are stuck but when you figure it out and start typing vigorously it is satisfying as hell
-
@kurtr Yeah I guess you are right ... I was thinking to find a way of changing my codes without them noticing and blame it all on an unknown bug, but if could delay the project and harm our company. As you said I should just own up to it tomorrow. It ain't gonna be easy...

@vortex PHP is my favorite server side language, but mostly out of habit and since I don't do much of server work anymore I use filezilla and notepad++. I just dont feel close with sublime.

It happened to me a week ago, I work at a digital security firm I don't know if I can go into details but we are currently developing a program which requires some mathematicians, CS to be exact, When the function they developed and I wrote did not work, I was confident that my API was correct so I told them to get their shit together and check for errors.( I did not like them from the start so I was a bit cocky and rude) I realised it was my fault when I get home so I have been calling in sick since friday... Need some advice.

Am I the only one who loves css but hates sql?
