I don't really get people liking PHP. Everyone I personally talk to seem to hate it, and always when I work with it I am struggling quite a bit.

What's the awesomeness behind PHP that apparently many people can't be able to understand or appreciate?

Two days ago I switched to an Ubuntu Machine and I couldn't get it to work.

As it turns out Ubuntu was not able to solve the DNS Name into an IP Address.

FML - 2 days wasted

This current need to bash Apple for the new MacBook is becoming rather annoying. Especially since every second post is about it!

After start reading on devrant I noticed that somehow people are using vim and emacs quite a bit. Why are you using them m? Are IDEs or Editors like Atom/Sublime not far more sophisticated than CLI Editors?

The moment when you use so many different languages in a project (Python, JavaScript, coffescript, PhP, CSS, HTML, Bash) that at one point you feel like you can't program the simplest things and you mix all the different languages together into one...😫
