The picture was taken in the 90s, right?
-
That's mean.
-
Haha that's badass indeed 😀
-
Which in could ++ that a hundred times, hope it is genuine 😀

I can't even tell the difference between 1080p and 4K on my 60" TV. Not from my couch 7meter away, at least.
-
I think it's a display for commercials. I know these from roadhouses.
-
At my previous place, the SysAdmin was responsible for the data warehouse and for changing light bulbs. Nuff said.
-
@bitfucker I am so with you with this! 💯%
-
So true. As I noted already, git could be so much easier
-
It's supposed to read (cast), not <cast>

Just give up on learning and education until she goes to school or leaves home, you will have plenty of time then 😀
-
Or don't write shitty code @Ashkin 😀

Never ever pursue a bug longer than a few hours. If you haven't found it, sit back, do something else, get a co-worker (or a rubber duck) and explain what you are doing.
Most often you'll get to work the next day and find it within minutes then. -
Maybe something like https://github.com/Qfusion/qfusion/...
-
A friend of mine did something similar with his 100something DVDs

That's a bullshit myth. Windows exposes internal version numbers in it's APIs that do not resemble the marketing names at all.

Actually C++ is great (if you are working with extremely skilled people) and boost is a must-have to every C++ project (if you manage to grok the template voodoo) and Lisp is pure awesomeness (if you value the extreme purity and favor it over a language that does not originate in the 70s).
But bjam? Naah 😂 -
@pythonR quick reminder: this is a ranting community
-
And after you're married:
- work
- care for kids
- work
- struggle to find time to do anything else -
Tell him to go fuck himself. Any business except that mentioned startup that requires this is already dead anyways
-
That pretty much sums it up correctly
-
@wolt dunno exactly. But iirc they made many external template instantiations to decrease file size a little of the dlls that use vector.
-
With Pascal, you can specify Arrays that start with index 1. (Or with 42, 666 or 1337, for that matter)
-
Fucking jealous!!

It's like Uber, but for copying famous services
-
I printed that one and have put it up in the kitchen a year back or so. Always remember this!!

He is actually right. git *is* indeed trash. For those that started coding less than like four years ago: version control has not always been written by egomanic kernel hackers that don't care for usability and like solving their own little problems without caring how that affects millions of others. There have been tools that seemed complex at that time, but look easy as pie compared to git. git just became popular because GitHub & Co have built an amazing system on top of a piece of unusable shit.
