Does it work tho?

These devs aren't ready for the Matt Curve
Nice find, ty -
All the time. Personally, it's because nobody cares about what I'm doing, like, ever.
-
I wouldn't have lead with the stackoverflow brag, but go off 👏
-
I've learned to commit and push often though as a side effect, so yay.

My laptop seems to decide each day randomly whether or not to be able to properly mount /home
FuXaKe I wish I knew enough about this shit to prevent it from happening. Instead I just keep DriveDroid on my phone and download an Antergos ISO like 5 times a month.
I wish I was scared shit was gonna all be ruined, only when updates were available. That must feel pretty awesome. -
I personally never make use of widgets on my desktop. I don't know how to easily get to that stuff while utilizing the screen real estate that I have.
Looks pretty fancy. Good job.
I'm using Antergos/MATE right now, cause I've been away from Linux for too long and don't know what I'm doing anymore. -
I love music, but I can't seem to get much done code-wise while listening.
If I have a solid plan and I don't need to think much at the time, I enjoy Rammstein and other Neue Deutsche Härte bands. -
I've been kinda absent, but I doubt much has changed.
I have problems communicating, so I sound like a bit of a dick, don't take it personally...
People expect you to at least be trying to have your shit together. If your job is to advertise for any software or company, I'd suggest not expecting great reception amongst social circles like this one. If that's not your job, I wouldn't really expect an affiliate link, as affiliate marketing is usually something you don't just barely dip your ass into.
All of this is out of context though, because I can't see the original post. By the way, if there's clearly somewhere to put a ref code, the same amount of people that would have clicked your link would have come back to the rant to get yours. -

Do you need or want it?
If not, don't. -
Happy for you!
I hate when anyone asks me what I'm doing or what I'm thinking about.
It just reminds me that no one cares or understands, and I don't have the skills needed to explain anything to anyone around me. -
This has since changed though, yeah? You don't get paid for lines written, right?
-
"Boo this man! Boooooo!!!!"
Just kidding :) -
Almost ++... Saw no "fuckity"... Mmm. So close.
-
Waterfall is basically dead. We only learn about it so as to not repeat the (shitty) past. Your teacher is right.

Right-click, "extract to <nameOfArchive>/".
Haven't opened that program in years.
...You're welcome -
Language is ever evolving. We can still make this a thing.

This has been my Facebook profile picture for a couple weeks now. It's zoomed in on the dog.

I got the hacker's IP: 23.75.345.200

That's only supposed to happen in meetings? Perhaps I need to surround myself with more tolerable people.
-
No. I promise I'll try to reproduce bugs that you report. If I can, I promise to not make fun of you on the bug report you filed. If I can figure out the underlying issue, I promise I'll try to solve it without breaking any of the other working features. If I can do all that.. Well, still no. I promise that there will be some weird edge case that no one thought of, so there will always be bugs somewhere.
So, no. I can promise I won't lie to you about the product that we're making together, though. -
It has plugins?
... IDE?
Yeah, I missed something. -
I think it's all about the approach. If you start off thinking that you're absolutely right and not open to dialog, I'd probably be shitty about it too.
Give people an in. Avoid certain language. "You shouldn't...", "Why would you...", etc will take more effort from the person you're criticizing to not punch you in the face.
If you listen to them, they're likely to listen to you too. There is, however, some people looking to be offended no matter what you do. -
Is it a troll?
Or a necromancer? -
Looking for a decent ad blocker yesterday and found "AdBlocker Ultimate". They're morally opposed to selling out (acceptable ads) so I figured I'd give it a shot. Noticed that there's support for whitelisting entire sites but I wanted to whitelist individual YouTube channels. There's a contact us page. Cool, I'll submit a feature request. Oh, hold on a sec, it's open source on GitHub. Great, I'll do it myself.
*looks at GitHub repo*
"initial commit"
...Fuck.
Good thing, after having it installed for an hour, extension crashes a bunch.
Oh well, I knew it sounded too good to be true. -
Time for your personal project and time for yourself are different things? How? Expect that project to fail.
No, but seriously - Not the GPA. I say contribute to open source. Flesh out that GitHub account.
Showing meaningful contributions in code that's actually in use will be the best way to advance in your career in my opinion. -
Closed as not constructive.
:p -
1. There's always more lines of code to add.
2. Shift key. -
It's-a me!
