Also switched to Bruno. So far it covers the basics. Definitely not as mature as Postman or Insomnia yet but it is picking up some good momentum.
-
@sariel That's what I have been told. Just waiting for the day it makes a project easier rather than becoming "the" project. 🥲
-
@TrevorTheRat Right?! I thought is was overkill but when I asked apparently that's how they have always done it.
-
I mean it's pretty much the same rut that cars, phones and the like have fallen into. This year sharp corners. Next year we can round them out a bit so it looks new and exciting.
-
@Nihil75
-
@lamka02sk true that! Never going back!
-
@Demolishun Typically homelabs are your own environment at "home" (or some non production setup you allocate). It's meant to be your own playground to experiment and play with software and hardware solutions in a safe (non production) sandbox.
For more info, I would recommend r/homelab -
Also 3 years might be a bit of an exaggeration but the gif fit too perfectly 😬
-
@NeatNerdPrime I would highly recommend it. Overall it was a pretty smooth transition. The only hiccup was setting up one of my self hosted sites that has its own ssl cert instead of going through LetEncrypt like the others. Certbot really spoils us 😅
-
Mainly due to procrastinating, school, work, and more procrastinating 😂
-
@AtuM Yep. First "real" dev position.
Hasn't been the smoothest transition. My velocity is being compared to guys who have been on the team for 3+ years. So far just been a recipe for hardcore imposter syndrome. -
"Waiting for the new hires to get spun up..."
-
@lamka02sk ahh. Shame. I thought they rolled back that decision.
-
@AlgoRythm Is it that big even in compact mode?
-
Could be worse. You could be stuck on Google Chat.
-
My favorite is still WinSCP.
-
That is a gorgeous board! Well done!
I think I'll need to go jump into my qmk config and add a shrug key 🤣 Love it! -
@N00bPancakes exactly. And it wouldn't be so bad if our CEO and company weren't hyping up like "we have acquired such great talent and we want to do our best to keep it".
Give me a raise. No.
Give me a new position. No.
Cool empty words as usual. Good to know. -
@SortOfTested Not the first time they have moved the bar and not the first time they have given me that polite cloak and dagger message. But yeah....
It is the first time since getting my degree which was supposed to fix the headache. -
Good to know it wasn't just me 🤣
-
Watch out for all those significan charges. 🤣
-
A while back some co-workers and I discovered a loophole on our domain policy. When changing our password we can't use the last 10 passwords. However there is no time frame limit on passwords. Hypothetically one could change their password 10 times on the 90 day mandate, take 15 minutes and change their password 10 times and then change it right back to the original. How's that for security 🤣
Hypothetically of course 😏 -
Agreed! Breakups suck! Totally kills motivation and creative energy! Take care of yourself and give it some time!
Sounds like a cool project though! Can't wait to see what the alpha looks like! -
@ostream Pearson is a US company that sells it's learning platform to schools then charges students crazy fees for access to the platform and the books. The books are basically useless because they are also on the platform electronically.
-
@alexbrooklyn Get my employer to pay me for having a degree or find someone else who will.
-
@rooter 🤣 I walked into that one
-
@C0D4 Dang it! You beat me to the punchline 🤣 I was just about to say the same thing
-
@C0D4 Thanks for the laugh! This thread made my day 😂
-
Nice! I have been working towards something similar for a while now. Still trying to beef up my home lab to make it happen though.
-
@Fast-Nop Hope your aren't on Gitlab. I heard they are jumping onboard the rename bandwagon.
