No. Don't teach the kids how to code and don't program them. Teach them literature and arts.

I wanted to create a terrian and topography similar to the one used in pubg. Initially i want to model objects like bricks, wood, doors, trees, rocks etc. Then build a small game so that users can use these smaller objects to build houses, buildings, huts, cities etc.@kappekp
-
I think pubg used the real world LIDAR data for creating the terrain .
-
Agree. Making a detailed terrain is the difficult task. but it can be broken into smaller games first. Initially start with a small game where players can build terrains like pools, houses, garages, roads, cars, vehicles etc. Incrementally use that data to build the pubg like game. There are alredy some libraries to implement the physics, collision, ballistics etc.we make smaller games that build the objects for our bigger game.

@irene what i always do is hold a white paper beside the monitor and try to match the brightness/contrast of the monitor to that of the color of the paper
-
Make sure that the area behind the monitor is not bright such as windows, other light sources. Eyes will have difficulty adjusting to different light intensities in the same view.
-
@irene video games are made to get addicted. I actually like playing physical games than video games.

Remember everything is an object in JavaScript

They're good at creative things. Of course cooking and receipe making are part of creative things. The documentation and software libraries are not well abstracted and are not intitutive. Don't document the anatomy of a potato plant when all you want to teach is making French fries.
-
@ScriptCoded yes, but they can be good developers as they are naturally creative minded. The documentation should be like a recipe making.
-
In my opinion the only reason for not having females in software field is the because of not having proper documentation for a developer and an engineer. Most people doesnt even know the difference. Most of the times the documentation is engineering level which makes it difficult for women to catch up.
-
Another one I suggest is to build rovers using raspebrry pi or aurduino and play robo soccer
-
Nodejs
-
I suggest doing crafts. Like rope bowls, wood working etc.

@Fabian ha ha.

The good part is that we can set the duration of the article to read, difficulty level and also on the left side panel the number of topics.
-
Actually I don't like children being introduced to tech early in their childhood. It takes away their creative spirit. They should be introduced to art more than tech.
-
I suggest using https://github.com/canonical-websit...
This creates a structured documentation and tutorial series. Easy to deploy and write the documentation as it uses markdown . -
For converting those schematic to PCB layout and also and also documenting and sharing the schematic.
-
I couldn't find any good library. Seems like a uml diagram connection logic would work for this application or a graph visualization library.
-
No. Like the UI to add components and establish connections using GUI.

What lab? Electronics?

@metamourge don't worry. Remember all you need is excel for your bread and butter
-
@Hubot-0x58 I don't want the whole course. Just vuex, vue router and structuring a production grade app.
-
@ohemelaar I tried man. I didn't find any of documentation useful apart from the basic stuff.
-
@Hubot-0x58
Yes, I'm comfortable with js -
Actually I tried the official guide and few tutorials. I didn't understand how to fit those concepts in a production grade app. I specifically want to learn about vuex, vue router and how to structure a production grade app. I'm comfortable with JavaScript and also made an app using express web framework.
