What's up with all this hate with Java?

I got to say, I'm not a fan of C++. Why can't they give a proper error box stating what the hell went wrong instead of going "NOT RESPONDING!"

Dear lord! Why is it so hard to get this to work! Anyone know if its even possible to run lambda expression on JSP? I made sure everything is running on Java JDK 8. BUT IT DOESN'T WORKKKKK. I keep getting "Lambda expressions are allowed only at source level 1.8 or above"

Helloo Seniors! Just a short intro, I'm currently doing my Degree in Computer Science and I would be eternally grateful if you could help me out to come out with a cool/interesting title for one of my projects. The system I be creating is pretty simple, It would go through the list of students and what classes are they taking and it would detect if any of the students' classes are colliding with each other, eg: starts at the same time.
