I hate those problems... Had a bug and I was looking into it for an hour. And suddenly, it's gone without doing anything. 3 days later, I'm still thinking about it from time to time, trying to reproduce it when I have an idea. 😒

@Japorized for me it's the opposite, if I don't have the sweet noise of the fans of my computers, I have a lot of trouble to sleep. When I go to my parents place, it's a nightmare, they live in the middle of nowhere and it's way too quiet 😫.

I had a couple living next to my previous apartment listening to music to a point where my walls were vibrating a lot... Then I decided to be pragmatic about it, and added the cops on speed dial. And I don't think I was the only one. After 8 times, they got their stuff taken away by the cops and we never heard of them again. 🙄

I have a different approach. I write down my ideas on my windows with a white board marker and go back to bed. My neighbors probably think I'm weird... 🙄

For the rest, I kind of feel the same with my video game project. I'm mostly doing all the work and I sometimes feel like I'm drifting on an ocean with a wooden plank to stay afloat.
Allow yourself some rest as soon as you can, your health is more important than any job.

well after a (lot) of exploring, I went back to kde plasma with the lowest amount of packages possible. Also using manual startx because I don't need a graphic session all the time.
Still have a lot to do...

@dontPanic I must say, it's far far more satisfying to install myself a linux distro and understanding every process of it, than just running an installer, and doing nothing. tho it's slower for me, I hope I'll get better at it :p

@dontPanic well I just finished to install the base system. Everything seems to work properly. Right now I'm reading the wiki to learn more about how to handle my system properly. The amount of information kind of overwhelming x). But so far everything work

@Bitwise oh and the motherboard is too old to have an efi boot.
