C and SECURE??? WHAT??? -
@AvatarOfKaine ok first, I haven't posted this before
second: it really happened this way, believe it or not... Since I already waited for the reply of another company, I said I want a day or two to think about it, other company never got back to me, I signed the contract, sent it to them to sign and got the contract back. still no sign of life from the other company, sooo... -
@Wisecrack the 6502 assembly is actually not *that* hard.... it is quite limited, but also easy to trace and understand... it is just a bit more complicated since you use mnemomics and direct addresses rather than more abstract commands and variables
-
@Wisecrack yes, pure 6502 assembly
-
@jespersh I usually use KOMA script classes, mostly scrreprt
-
yeah, the distros are different, but that is because they are made for different applications...popOS for Gaming, Debian for servers, Arch for... well... Arch users... Manjaro and Mint for beginners etc...
-
@gdb123 haha, well, I am using Ubuntu since the 14.04 LTS version, but a lot of people will hate me for that :)
Ubuntu is nice to use (and debian based, so plenty of results when looking up an error), but GNOME is shit... there is a website called www.distrochooser.de where you get recommendations for your expectations of which distro to choose -
Which distro you gonna use?
-
@Ranchonyx yes it is ;)
and my SBC got two of them :D -
@Glavic still got a ton of them :)
-
and yes, I misnamed the first COM-label... should be COM1... *facepalm*

This reminds me of the time where I had to make a code review and I dug through the code and found like a gazillion bugs...
during the review meeting I was asked how many bugs or problems I found....
My answer was simply a straight "yes" -
@AlmondSauce i know, but if boss says I should work on it, then I'll work on it ...
-
"Task failed successfully"
-
@AlmondSauce boss said I had to since the hardware is old but the current software was comparably new and according to the client "this has never happened before!!!!"
