@craig939393 speaking solely from my personal experience, I’ve found that Ionic *feels* more native than nativescript (my experience with ionic is limited). If it was a choice between the two I would recommend ionic.
I haven’t used Xamarin so I’m not going to comment on it.
I think it really depends on your use case. -
I’ve built a few things in nativescript and I personally wouldn’t recommend it. In my experience it’s almost more difficult to produce something of production ready quality in nativescript than it is to build using the native languages. But it does depend on your use case I suppose.

Factoring in the cost of living in Serbia that’s like earning $32,000 living in the United States... 😢
Unless I did my math wrong (cost of living in Serbia is ~50% lower than in the US) -
As a user I despise Electron apps for their look and performance, but as a developer I love Electron. Being able to publish an app cross platform saves a lot of time and energy.
IMO, a poor performance app available for your platform of choice is better than no app available for your platform of choice. For small teams / teams of 1, Electron seems like the obvious solution to get something out there. But if you or your team have the resources to build something better, there is no excuse for not doing that. -
He's gonna be one hell of a debugger when he grows up~

What I'm interested to know is what challenges English as a Second Language developers face because most programming languages are based in English.
-
Don't fall asleep! They don't like that.
-
This couldn't be more true!
-
@SamDev98 has anyone called you out on it? I do this all the time and once or twice people have come up to me and asked, "why are you just scrolling through your own apps..?"

It's sad to see this stereotype engrained in such young people. Keep blowing minds! It makes a difference!

300++ on a rant
-
@mpotratz I am envious of that attitude~

@theImposter At the time there were about 15 of us, and everyone knew it was my monitor, the issue was settled when upper management got involved. I think that was one of the biggest things leading to him being let go, they also found company testing iPads and nexus' in his desk after he left.

I hadn't thought about this until now and now I think that I am...

I think you work with my mom.

You're not alone. Every time!

@viking8 that's important, because work isn't everything. But my point being that coding is what I do to sidestep work, it's just a plus that I also get paid for doing it during the day at an office~
At least for me all through school programming was a way to get away from classes and the stress of school, start a new side project, learn a new language, a great hobby! When they ask what my hobbies are after talking about the side projects in my github, like, "I thought we were just talking about my hobby" -
It seems like Apple is mistaking change for innovation.

Welcome to the future~

And translate.google.cn has also been unblocked

Some days I don't get any coding done at all because of school, days that I do usually 6-10 hours, about once every week or so.

@FitzSuperUser maybe it's just because my trackpad dpi is pretty decent, and that I've never spent over $10 on a mouse, that Ive had the opposite experience with mice, being that their less accurate and require too much wrist movement to use long term. That's my 2 cents at least
-
@FitzSuperUser ? I don't quite follow your reasoning there, do you mean like... a touchscreen?
-
Almost as bad as Twilight
-
@Drastic they offered for me to use a Mac Mini but I haven't used Mac OS in a while, and also it's a Mac Mini...
-
I grew up using laptops so trackpads just fee more natural, in addition my hands are too shaky to click thing accurately with a mouse
-
I love when this happens. Taught me sometimes the best thing to do when I'm stuck on a problem is take a nap.

All jokes aside this sounds like it will make for one great night
