here's my experience for this case, all thanks to my wife : those tjingx i end up feeling to tired i'm always going to be tired so wtf just do it like that at least it's progress not stagnation, those i hate to do i find new athlitically challenging ways to do them like leg and ab crunches when doing the dishes, whenever i get something like that i try to force my mind into rapid switching so i can't get birred if doing one thing for too long....hope it helps you guys
-
quick idea : migrate to electron the whole thing and present it as supporting multiple clients via a single codebase 😂
-
@sergiolarosa89 that is something i wanted to try but i've yet to find arespectable dojo in my city regardles, thanks for the tip
-
@crafter well although that is true at least you can remove the inconvenient environment for development, i mean you can get yourself a webstorm setup that works well.
-
@copycat thanks for the advice, my wife gave me the same advice just sadly endorphins just get me hyper and focused not human, although many lac those 2 qualities and have been called more human than myself, maybe the endorphins were not enough? All in all thanks for the advice.

I have a solution for your mysql problems :
see if the application youre using/building/supporting runs on postgresql
if it does that then just apt/yum remove mysql let the application squirm in pain while you rebuild it into using postgresql
also i've got some nice little setup scripts for postgresql for bash that i could give you -
the number of times i've tried doing that and ended up just nuking the vm and the project after stripping the application workflow out of it and rebuilding it in less than a week.
-
For me it's related to what i plan on doing and the application context, i tend to go for some cafeinated angular development for small and isolated stuff, but when it gets rough i go full angular latest in typescript and just setup angular material and that's that, frontend for me is just generating a structured interface that has as few as possible unique items in it so i can build a frontend builder that i can call and tell it to construct the ui for me.
-
@D--M well it's not like there are sane people around here just some that are more skilled in the concealment skill, also there's the case of different levels of crazy.
-
@SukMikeHok well the running worked for me a few times in the past but the screaming part isn't something I would recommend myself, deep and loud voice results in scary screaming so i tend to refrain from doing it, although sometimes i do feel like doing it so i think i'll just try to go into a park sometime around sunset and just see how many people would be startled, our police has a very reserved attitude.
-
@bkwilliams food is a good solution but I still need to get a self cleaning keyboard for that to work, the best invention i would need is a keyboard that doesn't retain dirt and oil and dust, afterwards binge eating would be a good solution.
-
@hasu bot solutions seem nice although untreated anger issues can't really get out through those kind of methods although i've tried some times yet i've had trouble with getting results.
-
I was like that at first but for me it ended up bad fast :( glad it's being good with you but i still prefer separating windows from linux, one machine for each, if using the same machine then separate disks.
Regardless of that above good for you -
Well you made me think but i've got the assumption that all that write it wrong consider that proper name spelling is a DLC so they're using ea to hint at that. Other than that there might be a slow finger issue.
-
I'll look into it right now and let you know in a later comment. as soon as i get the login stuff sorted out :( and that's going to be postponed for when i get home :(
-
Well call me nuts but why don't some of us join up and make a small thing that pools all these sources together in a single spot?
The tools are there just slapping them together is what we need. -
Well although this may seem weird if you fell like you want some mates to join in don't hesitate to ask, some might be like me, coding for fun and wanting to code together with others and would end up joining you, Also if you're in need of help i have some experience managing a small office due to a previous boss being unable to handle the stuff so i could, whenever i have some spare time, help you out, just in case you feel a need for help.

@illusion466 what about the accordeon, dropdowns and tooltips also modals those need the js and that js needs jquery, i mean those components are what makes bootstrap good without that js part you're bettet of using bulma
-
I'm just commenting to keep track of this in case someone answers because i don't know of any.
-
@illusion466 bootstrap is fine if you can somehow reduce jquery and all the bootstrap.js, so if you really need that interactive js-driven part of it a bunch of bloatware and asset management must be done to prevent it from turning into a garbled mess. On that note i've built a nice little asset management solution for a past project using just gulp so i can't really coment on using or not using bootstrap

@starrynights89 sorry for ghosting yesterday, i had some errands to run after a long night nd a stupid day at work and when i finally got home and all was well i fell flat on my face without the capacity to think....if you're still in need of the script and haven't had the time to completely sort it out i can still help.
-
@hiTesh well if it's quality that concerns you i can make some tests when i get home on my debian machine to see how well i can get the pulseaudio to work and what settings i used to make it work well. I'm a music nut so i can't function well without music so audio quality is indeed an important priority for me also. I'll get back to you a bit later after i've done the tests.
-
@starrynights89
Could you by any chance get php up on that machine, just in case, i think i could get it done faster in php rather than bash right now -
@hiTesh i noticed that pulseudio just gets it well sorted, i have a few weird motherboards and my preferred distro is debian so never had trouble with pulse audio, although i use a nice trick i plug in deadbeat plugs on all jacks so the ports are forced active....many tell me it's stupid but it's a solution that works well.
A deadbeat plug, as i call it is just ripping a buzzer and connecting to it a number of jack cables with 5-10 cm length, i go from 3 to 8 ports to have it more comfortable but that's all that i needed to "convince" the system to recognize the device. -
give me a minute to start up my vagrant because i'm currently forced on a windows machine and i'll whip something up that can iterate the path and analyze the files
-
if you're a fan of php, and like Laravel i would recommend october cms it has all the user oriented stuff and also a forum module that will get you in business quite fast https://octobercms.com/
Also i could help along with building it thanks to working a lot with laravel. -
I know it's hard to admit, i like making my coffee like so : half a glass/cup is hot coffee to dissolve the sugar and after that's done cold milk to chill out :)
-
There was one time when i required a different os on a computer to facilitate communication with a prehysteric ( intended ) device and the device provided nothing else except windows xp support....worst day ever, saved all my setup scripts so it was fine in the end, but the 3 hours required to extract, save, remove, install windows were like i was killing of the last specimen of an advanced alien race and replacing it with a maggot.

@SanitizedOutput for me it's how rigid and inflexible it felt when using it, also the oop part of it never really felt pleasant to me, i don't think the syntax is truly ugly just excessively specific and so rigid like it has a cement suit.
