@Berkmann18 terraform accepts YAML/json, you don't need to know your way around cloud ui, you just need to know terraform (which is YAML). Configs are YAML (Ansible)
-
You are using cloud wrong. Virtual machines are meant for lift and shift scenarios.

Presumably because he wasted years on getting that PhD and has no real experience
-
Wait no meetings? What a paradise

Don't hate the player...

K8S provider docs clearly say not to use it in the same place as provider that created the cluster

Coding backend task for senior devops?

Something that makes people argue how to pronounce it correctly
-
40 ppl? He's stuck in one of those companies that still do waterfall
-
@aviophille I am the person who gets called to fix crap made by people who are nice to work with
-
@aviophille people who can't grasp simple sentences like you are what's wrong with any industry. The point is I am physically unable to think like non technical people, it's been core of my life from very young age. It's a form of trained brain damage that makes me very good at one thing at expense of a lot of other things. And for context this is internal application, in a software company so they should adjust to me, not the other way around.

@awesomeest I don't buy toothbrushes, I use my finger obviously and I find my pets in the woods, it's free

7 years? I do hardware upgrades every 3-4 years (not using Mac), that's the average lease time. Never buy things that lose worth over time.
-
For ppl with AMD hardware games run better on Linux now than windows (steam). As for wifi I recently had to load custom driver during Windows 11 installation on ThinkPad to make it work so let's say the field is getting leveled, just in wrong direction...
-
Degree lol

And it works for 6 months at best, then I'm pissed off again

Go

Collage is a scam
For the rest of it - git gud -
Maybe because that's not possible? What is possible is connecing to VPC endpoint and reading from SQS. No wonder you can't find anything if you can't even form a sentence that makes sense

This is how they know:

Other providers have similar mechanisms in place. -
I circled wrong answers on purpose, let people copy them and in the end quickly fixed them. And yes I am but in local shit currency only :(

Effective communication in age of remote working and global teams is async communication. People should not need to wait for your work hours to write to you. You should set your work hours and if you don't want to be bothered then mute notifications and answer when your work day starts.

Walking depiction of sunk cost fallacy
-
What the hell is even that
-
So you have problem with garbage editor from Microshit and somehow blame docker?
-
Must be Jawa fault
-
All of them
-
@IHateFrameworks Not sure what you mean by where, it doesn't matter. I live in Poland, companies I have contracts with are global and so are their clients
-
@AlmondSauce There is no placed, it stopped existing with covid when everyone went to work from home and stayed there. IT job market is global.
-
@Sid2006 Only one? I did recently quit one if you check my rant history, because they told me to make a shitty powerpoint presentation which I think is a waste of my time. The new contract I got to replace it was 50% pay increase and I'm an offshore worker from eastern Europe not some ex google, that's the state of industry right now
