Each of them have their own pros and cons. But everyone of them are workable in some extend.

@milkbytes my java teacher was surprised that i was nagging about the 4gb ram.. Yes, our lab computer uses 4gb ram, i3 windows 7 or 10 (some of them has mint installed) with a crappy old hdd that barley works.

@ReverendLovejoy I believe this was in a registration form. Where each user must save an unique username. Kinda like twitter.

switched to Linux mint couple of weeks ago, everything is awesome.
And after 2 weeks? Cinemon crashes randomly, ssd seek error on boot 😈

i got to know one in my personal experience. The reason he got hired because of his impressive portfolio and I guess someone referred him to HR.
The problem with him was he was just a bad student. Never tried to learn anything in depth about CS. And he had no interest on learning new things.
Most of the project he was assigned returned with outdated 3rd party plugins which is hackable in 12 minutes.
And that's how he got fired.

i don't hate php, i just don't like writing php codes. so my alternatives are Python (Django, Flask), GoLang and sometimes NodeJs

that will make your foundation somewhat stronger. also if you can then get your hands dirty with some open source projects.
