To be honest I have no problem with procrastination. I love programming and there are few things I would rather do.4

When I left university I got a Graduate Developer role at a local start-up. For the first year there i did html and css, second year I was in the support team.
Not a problem because sometimes you have to eat some shit to get where you want to be. But third year I got moved into the Dev team properly.
A month in, the Support team, without someone with a devs brain and a "devs" knowledge of the product, started falling really far behind and struggling and the MD told me I'd be going back into Support for another 6-12 months. So I told him to fuck off, and if he did I'd just leave. They never did and I stayed. 👍3 -
Heard my team leader is leaving, this leaves me as the only developer in the company, we went from 4 all the way down to 1... #thiscompanyisamess4

Is it possible to be addicted to coding?
I said I wouldn't program today (or last night) but just spent 2+ hrs adding a function to one of my apps...2 -
Back in 2008, I had a colleague who often smiles and giggles while looking at the screen.
Sounds normal yeah? Except there's nothing on the screen but Eclipse, a Java IDE.11 -
Devs who argue that their favourite language is the best and other are not good enough for anything. Different tools for different jobs dammit!4

So what do you guys do when you have to work on a project but you are really bored to do anything at all?11

My dream project is to build my own analytics system and project on monitors which basically says everything live users on site, what every user is doing... where my site is failing etc...
Fortunately I'm solely working on it and implementing in the company I work. So, in couple of months it is going to be realistic.

Has anybody ever missed the xmas feast at day cause you spent your night coding or finishing a project the previous day?
Happend to me 2 years ago twice and I found myself waking up and went directly for the new years eve. -
This Christmas, I hereby call for a total and complete shutdown of new css/js frameworks until we can figure out what the hell is going on.5

Trying to build a scripting language but realized that it can't even differentiate identifiers and number literals.
