If I get into techno music, I'm definitely taking this as my name.

I still remember one of my first programming classes. Back when I couldn't identify a function from a class, my tutor gave the class a set of numbers and told us to write an algo that rearranged the numbers in order, smallest to biggest. I wrote mine, my tutor looked at my code with shock.
"Did you look this up online?"
"No"
Did you get help from any of your more experienced classmates?"
"No"
Turns out I just 'invented' bubble sorting in about 10 minutes. I had no idea what I made was generally a standard practice.
That tutor really took to me over the next couple of years after that. 😂 -
Because it's a high level language?
-
My Huawei occasionally does this as well. Super annoying.
-
POP_OS. It's Ubuntu but prettier, without the shit and designed for developers
-
Good investment, You'll never crash again!

I mean technically you could install it this way. You'll still need a steam account that has said game registered under your account before you can run it though.
Source : have tried to bum steam games off friends before without luck -

@404response DC-Unlocker, that's the one.
-
Fuck 'em. The third party software is sketchy, but by God it works.
Used it on my p9 a couple of months ago, managed to unlock and install LineageOS within the hour. -
PeopleSoft, the version we used was released around 1998.
They only upgraded it last year to a system that's almost worse. -
I think you just solved quantum computing.
-
It's even worse when a website redirects you to a localised version of a page and does the same thing.
(Specifically referring to Uplay here, both browser and client) -
This is how I feel about most things I do in Linux.
-
Huawei phones are pretty sweet.
-
I had a tutor that recommended we remove all whitespace in our c# code because it would make the resulting program a smaller file size.
You're not alone in how you feel. -
An old and experienced colleague of mine used to say the same thing, word for word. *suspicious*
-
So does C#, amazingly.
-
Stoned coding is great. Once I spent an evening learning polymorphism a full year before it was covered in my degree, the concept blew my mind.
-
Me last week with a Cordova program.
-
As a catch-all for anything that can fuck up during runtime, it's a pretty useful strategy.
This is from someone that works at a service desk. -
@KimDotSe ah yes, fisheadofdoom, my old email handle. *shudders*
-
I've had this problem myself. try getting a part time job, or full time if you have to, so you can make some money on the side while you work on your portfolio. Hell, that might even transition to actual client work if you put your work out there!
-
This is actually really clever
-
well, looks like it worked!
-
Assembly.
Closely followed by Visual Basic. -
If I ever had to work with someone who didn't do this when fixing a problem, I don't think we'd be able to work together. #ifthisfunctiondoesntworkimflippingmydesk
-
actually had this happen last year
