@hitko what he said.
That’s the beauty of flex boxes, and if you didn’t notice, it also pushes anything on the right side (Elements after the 3rd) along with it.
The day I discovered flex boxes (many many years ago), I fell in love. -
Thanks for all the comments, yesterday was a really bad day and getting actual insight helped a ton.
I’ve decided to drop CS and switch to Information Science. I realize that it doesn’t compare to CS, but it’s mentally much more manageable.
I’ve come to terms with the fact that not everyone is built for CS, and unfortunately, I’m one that is not.
Ideally, I can still switch and graduate within a decent time period. Although it’s not ideal, a BS in IS and a AA in CS might still be worth something in the future.
Thanks again. -
Thanks for all the kind words and whatnot. It’s a huge change from my previous bike.
Love it so far 🏍 👍👍 -
@M1sf3t
First BMW motorcycle, not my first bike. I started on a 600 and have ridden for 3 years. I’m not a pro but at this point I know what not to do. -
@smirving someone had a rough day, eh?
The wording on the picture could have been better, at least give him that. Sorta doesn’t even make sense tbh. -
@AlgoRythm learn how to use the sort function.

Seeing as the data you were provided was incorrect, I’m not sure if you could blame yourself?
However, I don’t see why you don’t utilize a “deleted” or “active” column as mentioned within your tables. Makes restoring data a lot easier when situations like this arise. -
Just a update, I quit being a little pussy and called him day after this rant.
Sent him my resume, waiting to hear back from the hiring manager. -
If you knew what you were doing within the language, you wouldn’t be complaining right now.
We all have our preferences, and that’s completely fine. But just because you can’t comprehend how to utilize a language properly, doesn’t make it a bad language.
Stick to your preferred languages, and then we won’t have to deal with rants like this. -
INB4 "PHP is dead"

So tired of this notion that just because a library exists you need to use it. Or having an abundance of libraries is an issue.
In fact, I’m tired of this anti-js movement. If you don’t like JavaScript because you’re unable to comprehend how it works, don’t push that on the language. Blame you’re own incompetence.
Besides, I can’t imagine why having more than one way to do something is something to complain about.
I know you didn’t explicitly say you dislike JavaScript, but I followed the line of logic.

Could use more regions. Try a light gray for one of the panels.

@rui902
I’m confused by what you’re saying. Are you deleting the cookie or making the assumption that Chrome is doing that when switching to device emulator mode?
As I’ve mentioned, when you turn on device emulator, Chrome will automatically modify the user agent header to pretend as if it’s the device you’re emulating (Eg. iPhone blabla).
CakePHP is a user management / login system correct? I am extremely willing to bet that CakePHP stores the initial user agent in the session file, and upon each request validates your CURRENT user agent with the INITIAL user agent.
What I’m getting at should be clear. You either need to disable the server side validation temporarily so you can use device emulator, or find another way to test your website as another device.
I’m on the current Chrome version and it’s not clearing my cookies when I switch to device emulator, so by deduction, my theory is probable. -
It doesn’t delete your cookies, but it does change the user agent header. If your application monitors the user agent to ensure it doesn’t change, then that’s why the session is getting killed.

Reposted so many times I can’t count.
-
@Frederick No, it won’t. Browsers ignore it.
-
@FrodoSwaggins Too late. It’s already deeply integrated into all of my “infrastructure”.
Looks like a couple 520 errors a day is going to be the new norm. -
What caused it?
-
Did you try turning it on and off again
-
I rather be bothered about every login then find out later that someone compromised my account.
I use 2fa but still. -
@irene are you hinting at the fact that you like JQ or?
-
@irene yeah except it won't be called jquery, so there's that.
-
Is this 2012? Quoting the punchline of the meme in your post...
-
@Stuxnet so you’re saying users are paying for the ads? The analogy doesn’t add up imo.
-
Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I didn't want to speak too soon and have to eat my own words.
Integration went great, few minor fixes here and there. No ground breaking bugs... yet.
Thanks for all of the support. -
Gl bro. Waiting for that update.
-
Mine does the same thing but for the bottom of the screen when you first open spotifiy. I just have to resnap the window into fullscreen

Grape is a good WYSIWYG editor for sending out emails via a webapp. Not sure that it has anything to do with the point you were trying to make.

@okkimus wasn't interested in taking credit for something I didn't make.

This is excessive to say the least.
I feel that keeping up with the backups and ensuring every storage mechanism has the most recent update is a pain.
I keep my project backups on Google drive , and usually have a copy in my downloads.
I trust Google enough to be satisfied with this.
