Suddenly i'm hit up with one of Noob friends saying that he installed Windows on His MacBook Air...
My ears and eyes starting bleeding and all that came in my mind was why the heck did you do this, why the heck did you coat your Chocolate truffle with the fucking Mud. Why didn't you just hammered the keyboard and the screen before doing . I had to sleep after this and all that i saw in my dreams was fucking apples and windows.
Please for God's sake don't do this , wouldn't be a sin more deep than this one

It's fucking annoying when your roommate feels the need to play their music so loudly you can hear it through the walls. That's not fucking necessary... I listen to music all the time without it being that loud. And if I want loud music, I do the polite thing of putting my headphones in. This shit didn't bother me early on, but it's getting on my last fucking nerves these days.

I'm trying to do homework and can barely focus because of the constant sound of bass non-stop.

Apparently, a lot of people here are complaining about the fact cs classes (and I'm talking about uni here) are way too much theory and far too less teaching practical things. And don't get me wrong, I don't like viewing cs only from a theoretic point of view either, BUT I think cs education is made to teach you how solve complex cs problems by yourself and give you the tools on how to learn about these things in the future. And this is very much theory.

CS is the science part, so don't wonder if there's a lot of theory in it. If you only want to learn how to program, maybe you should take programming courses instead.

In school though, cs education should be less theory and more doing practical (funny) things, programming, "how does the internet work", "why I should not give my credit card details to random strangers on the internet", things like that.

Drop or be more flexible with the Math requirements. I took every programming course my High School offered including AP CompSci and passed with high grades. I wasn't able to pursue a degree because I wasn't "allowed" to take CS classes without first meeting the Calc 2 prerequisite. I am terrible with Math but programming makes sense to me, I'm good at it, and I enjoy it. I think it's horrible to stop someone from pursuing a degree because of a prerequisite. I understand the Math/CS relationship but being good at math doesn't make you a good developer. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

When I was in college, our email was on a Unix server. We would login via serial connection or telnet over the network, and get a korn shell. The server was poorly secured. Everyone's login device was world writable. So people would just see who was online, see the username of someone they wanted to mess with, take note of the pts(network) or tty(serial) device their connection used, and cat ASCII penises to it.

I've fallen in love with the EPIC games launcher, it not only shows you detailed information about download, read and write speeds, but also the distribution of operations! Never have seen that in a game launcher, steam blizzard origin etc should take notes!

Had an onsite at Google.

After a couple of days recruiter told me to try in 6 months to a year again.

It sucks that feeling.
