Why the hell is it when there is a rant that even mentions linux or windows it turns into a linux vs windows debate? I do understand people love their own platforms but honestly when you fanboys provide arguments, they are fucking weak as shit. You want to know the fucking truth? In 2018 there are very few ground-breaking differences between windows and linux. The only reason that I would accept in the linux vs windows debate is privacy. Microsoft could you please review all those "features" that ignore our privacy? By review I mean remove them! Windows has gaming that is a fact, however the amount of games that work on linux are growing exponentially. This whole debate is pathetic! Fanboys !? Could you take your fanboyism and stick it back in your pants... please :)

Normally I don't give projects a lot of praise, but damn the gogs.io project made my life so much easier today. When compared to that ram guzzling, cpu thrashing monster of a git hosting software called Gitlab is
Gogs like a little slice of heaven.

Having a cold on a busy time schedule sucks. I almost worked myself to death yesterday by consuming a ungodly ammount of caffeine. Even though the caffeine helped for what felt like 15 minutes, my brain did not seem to function. Just one more worksheet to hand in tomorrow ....

Today when registering myself for a website I was asked to validate my email address. Literally I was sent an email with only "Please verify your email" in the body. So I responded with "ok". Lets see how long it takes for them to realise their mistake.

Why do theoretical computer science and maths lectures mostly start at 8 am. I am a nocturnal creature to me is like having to wake up at 3 am for others. There are other kinds of people that like to get up early so here is a suggestion: Why don't we agree that all lectures start at 11:00 earliest? It is a good time in the day for a lot of people and I would have the time to inject myself with some Mate tea.

For some reason my wife was watching me reading away at devrant and then says:

Wife: You are missing your protection!
Me: ehh what ....
Wife: Let me fix that.

Then she comes back with a ... wait for it ... green yellow striped glitter apple sticker for my webcam.

I don't know if I should be proud of my wife or ashamed of myself for not a replacement yet.

I have been using devrant for a while now and have finally decided to create an account. That is all I have to say really. I rarely have anything to rant so instead I will just be ++ away.
