@skprog haha. Maybe!!
-
@skprog hmm not sure about the market over there. But here in Tampa there seems to be a plethora of openings.
-
Stay safe all! Here in Tampa. Looking alright though.
-
@mantekillah so how common is it for an entry level that's been on their first job for a year to be doing back to front end work. Everything from writing queries and commands. Creating tables in SSMS. Working with all kinds of tools like rabbit mq, redis, octopus deploy. And not just working on requests like that but also full features. And what level would that be considered. I ask because I have trouble knowing my value and how much I actually know.
-
Sound the alarm!!!
-
@1nfinite best advice.
-
What part of Fl? Currently working here!
-
This is the sole greatest thing you can do! So many applications lack GOOD unit tests.
-
@thephoenix Some wifi cards don’t play nice with Linux. So you’ll have to find a solution specific to your card maybe. Or the correct drivers for it.
-
Oh you mean that hotfix I just put up? Yeah yeah that broke prod. Hahaha
-
@bkwilliams 😂
-
Ah I am in the same exact position. First job out if uni and I've been here for a month now. Pretty nerve-wracking sometimes. But I love it.
-
Reminds me of the movie The Internship hahaha

Can I +100 this comment. It's so very true. I once used Dropbox to share code. Then I was introduced to git and various guis(I current use source tree) it's all a learning process and very fun! We all gotta start somewhere, and if that somewhere is sharing code from Dropbox then I say so be it. As long as we continue to learn better techniques! @iceman

I've gotten rejected plenty of times. They are really good learning experiences! You'll land something.
-
When grade builds I usually just go to sleep. 😂@tirthaguha
-
Lol I understood it. No worries.@avneesh
-
Ah okay I see. I'm new to it and have a fairly decent setup so I don't notice much when grade is building. But I see the disadvantages when trying to work on older machines. @avneesh
-
Thanks! I'll be sure to ask then. @johnc456
-
But why
-
Thanks! I've had a hiatus from devrant. Good to be back. @Jumpshot44
-
Haha thanks, there's a 60 day probationary period. Let's hope I don't mess up. @rookiemaverick
-
@whit I'm running RR 6.0.1 on a Note 3
-
@MG109 yeah my phone is rooted as well. Never had problems with games.
-
What phone and ROM are you running? If any.
-
Why can't i double +1 this damnit!
-
@meros haha yeah. When I had mine I spent like an entire night trying to make it actually print. We took the entire thing apart, turns out the yaxis belt was loose 😂
-
@Elkstorm I love this show and I 1000% agree with you.
-
Ugh I know the feels. But it's so great tinkering with it.
-
@Jumpshot44 thanks, the position seems legit, it is posted in several job boards. it is just odd they would ask for that.
