@purist Nope. I usw banking apps on it. With magisk you can hide root access and they work normally

C errors are fine if you use clang. C++ however, can be pretty shitty, especially when its linker errors

1) There is no such thing as a "best language". It depends what your requirements are.
2) JVM Performance is pretty weak compared to other managed language, for example dotnet.

@Geoxion I am used to OOP. I am programming in C# for many years and I like it. However C++ is cluttered with a lot of shit, and hides a lot of stuff which makes it more annoying to read. Abstraction is not always a good thing. It can be, but not always.

@bahua Yeah, i want a volumer slider, a output device switcher option and a mute toggle in my polybar. No idea how to do that tho. I still find audio configuration on linux a pain in the ass. I also use pavucontrol, but only for initial setup too.
