@koin Perhaps so 😏 The latent ability was in me since quite some time ago then
-
@koin Ah, that’s a valid thought. But my name originates from the word vaporized 😂Just replaced that v with a j
-
@koin ?? I’m not sure what my name has to do with what we discussed here. The J in my name does not stand for Japan 😂
-
@deusprogrammer Maybe it’s done for the sake of documentation? Cause the final implementation may differ from the original UML?
Or maybe he’s a genius that just made the program without first going through a UML, and then for the sake of documentation...
I’ve not watched the anime so I don’t know. -
@cyanly Even so, there doesn’t seem to be an agreement for how the characters should be rendered. Most Chinese and Japanese characters that render on Windows just gets treated as gibberish on others for example, making certain “hack-y” ports for *nix systems, like wine, a pain in the arse to use when it comes to rendering characters other than alphabets.
The last part was partly a rant on my end. -
You’d be surprised that the percentage of people that use Windows in JP is extremely overwhelming. At least that what I’ve read before, somewhere.
-
@aicha Whoops, your *ahem* “idea” of a perfect date eluded me for a while there till you pointed it out. My bad :( So it’s just like how HHmm is the perfect timing for some.
-
Did you actually mean “YYYY MM DD”?
-
That’s one fancy design for a switch :P
-
@bcye Look for Kaomoji and you should be able to get em.
-
Using semicolons can be perfectly normal; one simple example is this!
-
@AleCx04 I’ve only started learning the language for about two years and just taking my sweet time with it, sort of. Playing Japanese games (including VNs) and just paying attention to conversations in Japanese have helped me a lot, but that’s possibly due to my background in other languages. My vocabulary is still bad tho imo.
And damn, I thought I was the only one with putting up anime as a background for work (study in my case). Just gotta love putting up a conversation-based anime and do my own stuff. -
A porn that only a fellow tech savvy person will appreciate.
-
Don’t call yourself filthy! Otaku-ism is a way of life! I set my phone locale to Japanese and use w3m cause it’s made by a Japanese.
Wait... That sounds more like a weeb than an otaku. But I’m Asian! (◍˃̶ᗜ˂̶◍)ノ"
That said, I actually set my phone locale so that I can learn the language and w3m is the first terminal browser that I’ve used and never found the need to use others. -
It’s not meant to be one given its release model, and people generally recommend against Arch as a server.
-
I just use the built-in netrw file explorer, make it appear only on the left hand side of the screen with about 20% width, and hook it up to one of my function keys to toggle it. As for tabs, Vim has tabs built-in too. Just do :tabnew <file> and use gt and gT to go through the tabs in normal mode.

Sends the kid a link to a URL shortener website 🙃

My scumbag brain is hard to please alright, but it doesn’t get content that easily. For one thing, I just woke up at 4am cause my brain started drifting into a private project that I’m thinking of working on and that woke me up. I swear, my brain‘s a fucking jackass that doesn’t wanna pipe down even when I sleep.
-
Happy age++-day!!
-
@wbhob It’s a joke ;)
That said, I do write my blog posts in Vim. -
But... But... I love dark coffee!!
( ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ ^ ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀ ) -
@itsnameless Oh yeah! I didn’t even notice that. Best practices be damned!
-
Not on topic but the author seems to have a pretty interesting profile. He started programming at 6!? Damn!
-
That sub-comment tho

@Jop- If you’ve looked into citation standards like APA, they will advise you to not use Wikipedia as a source of reference. You can, instead, use the references listed on Wikipedia, and best if you actually do look up the source and look for the information you need. It’s generally much more reliable to reference primary sources than secondary ones like Wikipedia.
-
@wildebeest Damn! xD That’s a good one. I never thought of it that way and have always been able to successfully tell the difference in my head based on context.

Am interested to know some of the OS that still supports 32-bit so am gonna bookmark this. -
Nope it’s not just you. It’s never been considered a reliable source, at least if you’re talking about making citations and whatnot. Otherwise, it’s a reference, but not one that you can take as a fact.
-
@IllSlapU Oh really!? I guess that’s another imported word then.
-
Darn, just can’t view a clear imagine on the phone -___-
The word “Menara” caught my interest btw. And it looks like there are what I think are Jawi letters. Is this from Indonesia?
