Never used arch...
Currently use gallium on my Chromebook -
@BindView
Sadly no -
@reduxtris
It's a personal project -
@zantekk
To be fair, the Telegram part works.
Just the other code I added such as internet scraping. -
I'm getting a more likes than I expected, cheers everyone :)
-
@Synth-Synapses
I was on the bus -
@ScribeOfGoD
True, though navigation is tiresome... Wonder how much more data tethering with my laptop would be -
@ScribeOfGoD
Surprisingly used very little data... Might do it more often -
@rusty-hacker
I used JuiceSSH and nano
Wasn't easy when data connection broke a few times -
It's been an on going process with me. I know others got further but I'm still coding my own
-
@christophfl
On the game?
I love it -
@jckimble
I've never been one into game hacking
Never see the point in cheating other players -
@jckimble
So it's an exploit rather than a hack -
Sadly any online game will have cheaters, most of them aren't hackers, just script kiddies.
I loved GTA online, till cheaters ruined it.
It's mainly the accounts which cheat to avoid paying real money for content that tends to get the eyes of (insert corporation here) -
I had one of those!
I loved it -
Sad thing is, if you did build this, assuming you learnt things instantly.
Loads of people would know the higher paid coding gigs and learn them. Which might cause that job to pay less as it's not as rare of a skill set.
Otherwise, the matrix would solve the full dive virtual reality... So long as you're ok with getting stabbed in the brain xD -
@RahulFromFP finding a compatible OS was difficult, I tried Ubuntu, Kali and even windows (Intel CPU) but on Linux, the touch pad didn't work and windows bsod me...
I find GalliumOS and it's very well done. Fast, stable, hardware just works.
Only difficulty was getting pip to work but I was missing dependencies.
Certainly worth it in the end, though you're flashing the ROM, so you risk bricking it.
If Linux isn't needed, currently there's similar spec Windows laptops for as low as £130.
Only downside to this is low storage but so long as it's not a big project, you're fine. -
I replaced chrome OS with GalliumOS
I used to use crouton to get a Linux desktop environment, but now I just have a full desktop environment.
I use apps like Pycharm and Brackets. -
@Balubs
I plan to learn about Flask, however at the moment I'm using 123-reg web hosting, which, doesn't allow me to install frameworks -_- -
He still is mine
-
I tend to prefer music without lyrics. Typically I'll listen to artists such as Lindsey Stirling.
-
I learn by videos and example code.
if I can find a video which not only the commentator / coder can clearly explain the code, but takes it steps at a time with basic examples, then that's a very good video to watch.
I also like looking at the example code sections of similar projects to get an understanding.
I mainly work with Python, and while I have used other peoples code to check things work, I always try to rewrite it in my own format so I learn which does what. -
@leuu
I'm not at the point of "I can program whatever I want"... but I keep planning an evening where I focus on my project but I loose motivation so quickly.
I want to do my project, but I often decide to do something else -_- -
@willol
It's certainly very interesting. The narrator isn't monotone. There is an audio sample on the audible store, try it -
Task manager not working?
I feel bad for you son
You have 99 processes
And that ain't one -
Try:
PickUpGirlAtBar()
Except RejectionError:
GoHome()
Except HasBoyfriendError:
GoHome()
Except AnxietyError:
GoHome() -
I'm still not great, or even good, with git. I've only had to use git command line twice so far, fortunately I've had GUI to use, however for the finer details and edits. Git is so handy
-
@christophfl
Me too!!! -
@aikone
Never know, might bump into each other
