So, the Network I was on was blocking every single VPN site that I could find so I could not download proton onto my computer without using some sketchy third-party site, so, being left with no options and a tiny phone data plan, I used the one possible remaining option, an online Android emulator. In the emulator running at like 180p I once again navigated to proton VPN, downloaded the windows version, and uploaded it to Firefox send. Opened send on my computer, downloaded the file, installed it, and realized my error, I need access to the VPN site to log in.

In a panic, I went to my phone ready to use what little was left of data plan for security, and was met with no signal indoors. Fuck. New plan. I found a Xfinity wifi thing, and although connecting to a public network freaked me out, I desided to go for it because fuck it. I selected the one hour free pass, logged in, and it said I already used it, what? When?, So I created a new account, logged in, logged into proton, and disconnected, and finally, I was safe.

Fuck the wifi provider for discouraging a right to a private internet and fuck the owner for allowing it. I realize how bad it was to enter my proton account over Xfinity wifi, but I was desperate and desperate times call for desperate means. I have now changed my password and have 2fa enabled.

What the fuck my friend was telling me about a "awesome" website he found called codecadamy, as a developer I dunno what made him think I did not know how coding works, as I can already do it quite well, but I signed up non the less out of curiosity, immediately I am greeted with a "exclusive" premium offer, and after clicking away from it I find that litterly 90% of the courses are premium only, like wtf? I understand they need to make money, but at that point why make a free Version? I try one of the basics of web development ones, and find it so fucking full of bugs and paywalls that I can not focus on the actual coding. Sense I was fluent in the basic stuff (<h1>hello world</h1> I copied it, and it let me by, after more copying I FOUND A FUCKING BUG IN THERE CODE. I am 99% sure that all the success storys are fake, because the whole think is just one big paywall and inefficient tutorials that I think will only benefit people without knowledge of how to do Google search.

Spammer just called me saying my windows computer was hacked and that I needed his assistance, I agreed and let him download free malware remover tool and other random shit, apparently the terminal commands were not working so he asked what version of Windows I was on, I said XP, and he continued and gave up on the terminal. tried to ruin whatever malware he put on the thing, finally he went to find what version I was running, and found out I was on Linux.
