My theory is that when the original screenshot was drawn on, they took a screenshot of that instead of saving it.

I like to think they put these inconsistencies in the scam emails so they know what to look for so they don't fall for their own tricks.

Or maybe they wrote the scam software with certain bugs and released it online, and when they get an email created with their own software, they use a backdoor or whatever that they wrote into it to scam the scammer.

But it's probably just stupidity.

Yeah, it's not the best. Lots of issues with color/design/icons but at least it's thorough. They got all the context menus and even the tooltips in dark mode, as well as dimming the title bar color. They're making progress for sure, just might take a while.

I checked the math and it looks like they're keeping pace. MicroSD cards have gone up 8 times and internet transfer has gone up 5 times, which is pretty close in this context.

How did your supervisor and others react when you told them what happened? And how long did you wait?
