Just wanted to share with you that I just finished my first ever mission as a freelance !

After a lot of information gathering and administrative cumbersome tasks to become a freelancer and a student at the same time, I have finally managed to acquire my first client and complete my first mission !

Excited to see what’s will come next !

Who still use Trello as Kanban and why don’t you change to an another (better) system?

And if you use a specific system, what is it?

My team work with Trello since the beginning. But as the team grows, it become impossible to say organize with a such simple system as Trello.

As there are no such papers on the subject out there, we are looking for some people/communities that could help us answer our questions.

My second client asked me to install a NAS. After listening to his request, I gave him a link to a Synology on Amazon and told him that once he receive the NAS, I will install it.

After one week, no news from him. So I called him and he has answered that he had some trouble with the delivery.

And today, I think I lost my second client and that he will never call me back...
What have I done wrong ?

Why did it take 1 hour to find the module ionic-audio, understand how to use it and finally add sound effects ?? 😖

Well, at least, it works both in the browser and on real devices... Not like many cordova plugins 😭

I'm a student in Belgium that will become self-employed as frontend+backend developer (during my free time)
In Belgium and as student I will have no charge.

What would be a good rate per hour ? Some already suggest me 30-40€/h but as I'm free of charge others suggest 25€/h

Using float in a simple structure for a network project running on Contiki. I was trying to print this structure for debug purpose and I noticed that all my float don't show up 😦

After some Googling, I ended-up on a mailing list saying that float and double are not useable in Contiki 😒

I get that double is too large (8bytes) but seriously a float is just 4bytes!

Well for now our floating numbers are just integer 😌

Receive a Nexus from my University to test new features on Android and now it have a wide crack on the screen.
I don't have the courage to tell the University

Just discover that I can send "echo bomb" to one of my fellow students trough SSH with the write command.

Then I discover the wall command to send messages to every connected user. Not sure if I am brave enough or if I am going to be banned from our network if I do that 😅

Having worked with PHP or MEAN on some projects, Rails looks like black magic to me.
