I don't understand. Is your 'room' a bedroom? Why would your parents control access to your bedroom? That doesn't sound normal to me. Do they have a reason for not giving you a key?
-
Seems a little hardcore to be testing this. How many exams for that subject? Is there an oral?
-
”Oops, something's gone tits up. Hope you didn't fuck shit up. I'm going to have to investigate this issue now but I'm supposed to be having friends over for tea. I guess that's my day ruined. Thanks user."
-
Cool, but you'll have to clean that red stuff off the TV before you can use it.

Developers? In a bar fight? There's no way we'd be able to fight without agreeing the parameters of the brawl and the expected output. We'd need a Project Manager to help (at which point of course we'd all find a new target for our aggression.)
-
I can't stand people IRL. They're usually stupid annoying attention grabbers.
-
@ruhe with jQuery it's something like:
var datuh = { "some" : "json" };
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
url: "/wherever",
contentType: 'application/json',
data: JSON.stringify(datuh),
success: function(resp) {
//yay
}
});
(Although of course, you http://youmightnotneedjquery.com) -
@ruhe One of us doesn't understand what you're saying. You can POST via ajax.
-
Something something about head.

Furthermore I think the joke is: ”Why was 6 scared? Because 7 8 9!"
It works best in numerical order. If we're commenting on 10 being scared then it's equally valid to mention how scared 12.256 was. Also, 6 is right next 7. -
I think the problem is that you care about this. 6 has no ability to 'see' anything since it's a fucking number.

Is there a .con extension?
-
@greg- because the classname is a hook for the style not the style itself. So instead of class="grey" we should use something like class="secondaryAccentColor". That way it can be themed as you like and you won't end up with cases like
.grey {color: blue;}
Better yet, don't mention colour in the classname at all. Eg: "secondary-message muted".
There's no right way to do this, only differently wrong ways. It's a matter of finding the least wrong way for your use-case. -
Flash? Seriously? Are you looking for work in the 90's?

Sorry, can't get past class="grey". It hurts my CSS sensibilities.
-
That is a beauty. Anything in the box?
-
@Stuxnet yeah, pretty much. Took me the best part of 5 mins to think of it.
-
@Stuxnet pupper fucker
-
@devios1 they're dogs not doggos, fucko.

I'm not sure if this is a bad statement to make but from my perspective there seem to be a sweet spot for humans that sits somewhere on the autism spectrum between high functioning logical reasoning and absolute social panic. I'd be happy if the bulk of humanity was a bit more autistic. I think it would make for a better world in general.

Is this sarcasm or is 4 hours work a lot for you?

I don't leave voicemails. If I need to speak to someone and they're unavailable I hang up and try again later at a time that suits me. If I don't actually need a conversation with them then whatever statement I had to make can be sent by email so as not to waste their time pissing about with mailboxes.
Voicemail is so dated and annoying for both sender and recipient. Let's just let it die along with faxes and pagers. -
I really wish that the browser vendors get together and implement a permissions system so that we get a consistent in-browser GDPR UI. Something like: "This website wants to place tracking cookies. [Allow] [block]"
-
I may be missing something but cant you just sum the values in the array and divide by the number of items? Basically find the mean probability. Eg.
(0.1 + 0.2 + 0.3 + 0.4 ) / 4 = 0.25 -
Good luck!
-
I don't get this. You're suggesting bonus ++'s when you're post has x or more comments? Why? The two are disconnected. Imagine posts such as this where the upvotes you get are likely to be in support of your statement but the comments are mostly refuting it. You're basically saying "gimme points for posting something contentious"
-
@chilledfrogs oh right. Sorry. Your words did not suggest to me you were looking for recommendations. My bad.
-
@chilledfrogs erm, maybe try a search engine?
