Firefox doesn't use the OpenGL driver on windows. It uses ANGLE which is a OpenGL->DirectX compatibility layer. Chrome is the same.

Yep, Elementary OS is really stable and refined. I even installed a new kernel so my laptop's hotkeys were supported and it's perfect now!
