@d4ng3r0u5 Will do :D
-
@irene These smart devices are getting way too smart!
-
@Stuxnet 😂
-
Congratulations!! :)
-
@irene 😂😂
-
@irene If you're to work with people who adds to your trouble and agony, helping them grow, learn etc are practically impossible! As long as you're to stuck with them , let the priority be not to allow them to ruin a lot of your days!
-
@JKyll This thought has resulted only pain and agony! But probably better than the arrogance from false confidence.
-
@irene PLAN B:
Pragmatically, let the priority be to avoid the toxic ones from ruining your day. -
1. Technically, you can upgrade 1GB RAM to 4GB by placing an order online(which at the end of the day a software) and replace or add to the existing hardware(if it supports the upgrade)which . In binary, you can DO it.
2. This is beyond me! I surrender. -
Headphones today, something worse tomorrow. Get outta there. Not worth spending your time or energy.
-
DAMN 😂
-
BEST STORY OF THE DAY!! 😂
-
@monzrmango good strategy 😆
-
@ihatecomputers "unconsciously generated technical debt" is ambiguous and provides people with an opportunity to hide things under the carpet!
Technically, this phenomenon exists. But acknowledging it, just creates a chances to the opportunists! -
@Codex404 Even if it a pending unit test or integration test, it qualifies as a tech debt.
Usually these are the things that take a hit when the deadlines are merciless. Depending on the team culture, these debts would be cleared(or not). -
@matste On Realistic grounds, yes. Ideally it shouldn't be though
-
@sjwsjwsjw Yup! Do you read minds ? 😁
-
@ihatecomputers Been there, done that, paid the price!
-
@Fast-Nop This is not at code level. When you do a DFD or Sequence of events, there would come situations where you look at the impact vs effort.
I don't compromise at code level :) -
@Fast-Nop There is an interesting story about this guy whose last name is Null. Solely responsible for bringing down web services and stuffs.
The edge cases at my context were worse. You just simply can’t have every possible use cases covered. Depending on your customer size and the time to implement, you decide the bar.
PS : the system is more stable than windows 😂 -
@ihatecomputers Depends on where we set the bar for over-engineering. But, point taken 👍🏻
-
I can totally relate
-
This is the story of a guy who unintentionally brought down a web-service and effectively the revenue generating component of a small scale start-up.
When this guy quit the company, they had initiated the process to remove his login credentials(username and password). Now, a lot of moving components were coupled with these credentials because this guy single-handedly did a lot of heavy-lifting and no one bothered as everything was working fine.
One fine day, the credentials were finally obsolete and the whole service was down.
just giving you ideas :D -
Totally! Lol
-
@noms89 it’s a cool phone. My brother has it . He’s pretty much happy with it.
-
@Stuxnet can’t access office emails and calendar events on Android. It has been helpful that way.
-
Jokes apart, it is actually progress!
-
Best thing you can do here is to learn what not to become, should you be a TL someday.
-
I used to be this. But working remotely became extremely difficult. Made it a habit to work only on laptop. Now working remotely and from workstation became more or less the same.
I do miss those good old days though! -
@Root Yeah. Can totally agree on this. It is just that staying a long period in such an environment derails our growth, learning and happiness in general!
