Eeeeeat waffles!

Makes sense since I believe slack is built on electron which is powered by chromium.
-
If you have front end dev experience you'll love react native.
-
I'm not even sure 1% of the memes are not reposts.
-
@andri9up I've never used ionic but react claims to be very performant.
-
Try react-native...
-
Wouldn't php devs be the ones we expect to rant about it? It's like I'm allowed to rant about Ohio weather bc I'm from there.
-
I started using it recently and I like it a lot. I didn't used to, thought it was dumb.
-
I messed up the difference between an interface and abstract class and then got scolded by the interviewer saying, 'we have to be precise with our words'
-
Just make sure you've searched for answers to your question first, and that you provide relevant code that you've tried. Avoid saying things like, "it doesn't work." If you're getting any errors, tell us what they are.

+1 for using protonmail.
-
@gato-negro yeah, but if you really want to learn it you need to use his site. The free stuff only takes you so far
-
Tabor is great, but you need to buy access to his site.
-
I also abhor this question.
-
It's not good practice for sure. The JS engine will try to guess where they should go before it runs the code. It can lead to hard to find bugs.
-
But I'm sure you learned a lot during the process.
-
There is, but I hadn't been shown it at that time. Which is weird, thinking about it now.
-
I like it too
-
Not to make it only for developers

I think questions like this highlight everything that's wrong with the dev interview process. You may be able to get these questions right, the question doesn't tell anything about how good a teammate one might be, how well their interpersonal skills are developed, or any number of other really important factors to consider in a new hire.
-
Mine doesn't. Are you sure there's nothing in your code slowing it down?
-
Please share the site so we can all stay away

Dear sir/madam...
No that's too formal.

@moars42 true, but I've made it through the final round of interviews and feel it would only be fair for them to tell me I wasn't selected. But who knows.
-
I'm in that same boat. Waiting is sooo hard!
-
You can open your code to some weird, hard to find bugs by doing this. The interpreter is going to insert them for you and it doesn't always guess right
-
No problem!
