Definitly Unsplash' API! Being able to pull down images with specific sizes matching my criteria, or specific categories/search queries from a massive library have been useful on many occasions!
Quick filler images to test your website, booting up to a new wallpaper each morning... The list goes on! -
That's one impressive Formula 1 lap record for the upcoming race in Singapore!

We all have that one "friend" that has an idea for the "next great" Facebook or Snapchat, but different...
FUCK OFF AND SHOVE THAT IDEA WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE!5 -
Being a Dutch developer & student I'd love to seek new challenges and participate in coding events and Hackathons. Seeing as Devrant has so many amazing developers from The Netherlands around, any suggestions where I could go and find information about such events?5

My second shipment of stickers for my Development laptop have arrived!
Either have no stickers, or enough to represent you 😉5 -

!rant && type=="idea"
So lately I've been seeing a lot more posts about Devranters organising meetups, having some drinks together and loads of fun like that, absolutely amazing!
What I think is sad is that a day or two after those meetups, I see comments passing by saying "I wish I knew about this earlier" and "Oh man, would've loved to come if I knew!"
Perhaps it's an idea to make a subsection for (un)official devrant meetups/events on devrant so everyone who's interested in meeting fellow ranters can find these posts in one location, or maybe even a calendar with these meetups/events
How do you guys and galls feel about this?1 -

Technically couldn't get fired seeing as this was a schoolproject, but let's rant anyway!
So for a final assignment we had to create a WordFeud/Scrabble like game in Java with 7 others. We really got to know eachother and had a lot of giggles with the project.
At one moment one of us got bored and decided to photoshop the head of the person who's grading us unto one of the board tiles and we laughed and laughed...
...until we forgot to undo this during the demonstration >.> -
School software development project in a nutshell:
You will need to gather the requirements from us by ways of an interview, built the documentation for it, we'll sign it and that's what you have to build.
...
We were supposed to get that signature 3 weeks ago, but they decided to not sign yet because they want to make late changes to the project whenever they want, yet we have to finish the build of this in 7 weeks... Seriously? That's what we have to work with.
Any working devs that recognize this situation at work and not at school?3
