Joggling between Django, React and Vue is so fun.

Hey guys, is there an easy way to avoid having all that bunch of stuff node_module comes with when you create a React project. Shit consumes more that 200mb on the fly. Do I fucking need all that stuff packed inside node_module?

We learn everyday. So for the early hours of today, I've learnt how to use redux(reducers and action) to manage my state and hell, my components are looking alot organized now than calling set and setState everywhere.

Learnt that fetchById was replaced by fetchByPk for fetching single item when using sequelize in Node.js

Learnt you can display images in your django admin panel. Haven't thought about it until today.

Let's rant small...

So today I showed up for an interview after I submitted my resume to this organization on Friday and was scheduled for an interview today..

Only to enter the interview room and the HR looked at me and said sorry, I can't interview you, you don't meet the criteria we want.

But nigga how y'all know I didn't meet your criteria and still go ahead and schedule for an interview and I had to waste my transport and time to attend.

Learning React and Node at same time, funny enough it ain't as hard as it sounds.😁😁

Getting really tired of this job hunt thing. So tiring 😒

I really think I prefer to be judged in an interview based on a walk through of a project you would want me to work on or a project to work on at a specified time or even my public projects in my repo, not some theoretical basics of programming.

Frankly, most times I barely remember this basic shits but obviously use them as the need arise in projects.

Picked up javascript few months ago, hacked through the basics and shit was looking too complicated and all over the place, tried react and got hooked. So I'm going all in on React. Like how you just get to build real projects right from the start.

But hell, I love my Python

Guess fullstack is now the trending thing. Read a book on javascript and code examples in the book, do same thing with python or any other backend.
As soon as you are done, add fullstack to your bio.

So many newbies following this path. Coding up alot of examples with no real depth in any particular language.

So have been learning programming by myself for a while now and have become good with python.

Will be quitting my current job this month as a HR/Social Media Manager to pursue a paid career in the tech ecosystem in a new city.
