@Grundeir it is and it isn't. It's a 2-way street of communication that almost always results in 1-way blame toward the engineers.
-
@psudo writing a document in Docs!
-
Awesome job, looks great especially in dark theme!
-
@Leetmecode well the comment was not helpful in the slightest. Of course I know that the content of the website has to be in HTML.. What I did not know that there were static page helpers that make setting up a personal site easier. Thank you for pointing me to Jekyll though! Will check it out.
-
@penderis web frameworks imply the use of HTML no? I mean what's going to _serve_ the HTML to the user?
-
@drRoss but of course!

Wow. Classes that require projects like this actually make you a better programmer.
-
@jakej5 it's not about mobile, it's about management. They think everything in mobile is simple because they can hold a phone in their hand. And they also think iOS is the same as Android. Everything mobile has to get done in a week, whereas if it's a backend project, the proper time and estimates are always given.
-
@kevbost "nice" 😭😭😭😭😭
-
@NoNameCode we made it to the deadline, just testing before release!
-
Wow! You guys are doing great things.
My question would be "why do you think many tech companies implement the agile process incorrectly?" -
That book is not just for beginners lol. Quickly gets very math heavy!
-
@bhargav-mogra it amazes me how no one wants to do the logic behind programming, but when it comes to the UI everyone believes they're an expert
-
@bhargav-mogra I had the same issue!
Then I asked my boss hey, how do you know to switch to the next screen of your apps, he says "look at the bubbles at the bottom.." -
I develop in iOS and I find this hilarious 😭😭😭
-
They use it as an insult, like CS is not practical..
-
@MightybeforeGod I feel the same way at my current job. I'm getting made fun of for reading MVVM articles.. not a good sign
-
@MightybeforeGod 😂😂😂. In all seriousness the amount of technical debt that amasses due to that kind of programming outweighs proper design and test harness upfront
-
All three apps were approved!
-
@zettageek you and me both 😂
-
@BellAppLab thanks a lot! Hoping they all get approved
-
It depends.. your app can get rejected for a myriad of factors, and it's not consistent from case to case. I've had an app rejected for requesting sensitive information at signup - 17.2.
-
@mattwebdev will do.. great idea!
-
How about designer that is a "developer" who's code you have to clean up?
-
@Yankeesrule nice meeting you as well!
-
Reminds me of objective-c bracket hell
-
😭😭😭
-
@sk8pickel thought no one would notice... it's in my blood man!
-
No joke last month senior dev did a Revert of the revert of the revert of the revert. Then once it was tested and worked reverted that revert
-
I laughed but then cried internally as our mobile "UX/UI expert" has the text "Click to continue" on a view controller
