@OPM46 I was. I got my team shifted recently. :)
-
Don't jinx it
-
@irene I do realise. I have actually told this once. But then they don't have common sense.
-
@ExGetMessage We don't have a scrum master. We did have one for few weeks but she didn't like the way team worked....
Team lead took up stories even when he didn't have clear idea about what is to be done. And then carry forward stories....
Scrum master didn't have any control over team -
@zemaitis There were times when I wasn't given information to work on my stories till the deadline for it to go into production was near....story was just getting carry forwarded....
I did bring it up. No one gave a shit. It continued. I spoke to manager and asked for team change. 🙂 -
@smb26 As of now no.....
I am just waiting for my team change..... -
@Root He has been trying to take credits for a project that I worked on. But my manager realised it. Manager knows how much efforts I have put in for it. He sent an appreciation mail as well.
So I guess I can be cool for some time now..... -
Happened with me too. It asked if it should translate. But never did....
-
@fizzbuzzCoder weird
-
@fizzbuzzCoder Why did you say I was Indian?
-
@Root Ah..... Now if I think about it....I guess at least in my batch, it was just me.
Now I feel maybe only after a girl proved she was good enough, her behaviour towards that girl changed 😶😶😶 -
@Root I did hate her initially. But later when I noticed that she realised what she did was wrong and that she was proud of me.....I was fine.
-
@pmike "if they fire me, I will thank them" . That's the exact same feeling I have.
And yeah, we started writing test cases recently.....and thankgod we are writing. -
@pmike lucky. I told something sensible to my lead. He taunted at least twice after that.
We realised there was some code behaviour we needed when we were writing test cases. So we changed code. He said it wasn't right to change code for test cases. I said "Test cases let you rethink and make you realise if code is written the way you want it to behave"
Apparently it wasn't right for me to say something that was actually right. -
It's not really the company but it's the people with whom you work. My friends who joined with me are liking their team and are happy. Whereas I am very disappointed with my team members and the amount of politics they do.
-
And then? What happened after you shouted? How did he react? Don't leave it without the climax😶
-
@AurthurM *Indian movies in general :)
-
*say GOODBYE
(Typo in rant) -
@Root I totally agree. I will be leaving this place soon.
-
@Qujja I don't know. I didn't check....nor do I have patience to go to my notifications section and check.
-
It's not normal. I hope you find another job and quit soon. Also, when you quit just tell your boss "You need to take time off to figure out who is actually the stupid and useless person here"
-
Update:
Got it! 😁😁 -
@irene Oh yes those too!
-
@irene You understand me :')
-
@Floydian The post was because I came across lot of posts in my feed where ppl put up screenshots.
-
@Avyiel Coming soon for sure
-
We don't even have a scrum master. And instead of asking for one, team lead is making me do the job on Jira board.
It's fucking not my job to create, assign and update stories for everyone in team. -
@iAmNaN My manager and director quit recently. A new director has joined but we don't have a manager for our team yet.
It's the lead and senior engineers. There is literally no one I can reach out to as such for now -
When everyone's receiving their hacktoberfest goodies....and here I just received the tracking mail....
-
@Jilano 😏
