Few of the developers I have met while coding hit buttons too hard.
Well I don't appreciate keyboard anymore. -
I went to gym people there helped me to become fit.
I went to common kitchen in my hostel, people their taught me basics of cooking.
I went to learn code people mocked me for using Java(replace with any technology) not python(replace with any technology with swag) -
How many of you do this weird stuff of typing Google in browser's url tab and hitting enter key and then type the thing you are searching for?2

Be a MEAN stack developer not just a mean developer.
Unfortunately, I have met few developers who just like to demean other people who know less or are less experienced.8 -
I always ask my teammates to git by saying
"git commit repeat"
I need a more catchy line to using which I can ask them to git.
Can you suggest?4 -
Since my last 3 rants I am getting ++(upvote) by dfox. I am very happy about it.
But except him very few are giving upvotes.
I am thinking is it really him liking my posts or he does this for everyone or is it a bot?? -
What's wrong with Eclipse? It give me errors without any actual error. I do restart everything works.
Sometimes I have to clean the project to remove errors.
Or am I doing something wrong?
Previously I have worked only in vim because my projects were small. I am not feeling good with Eclipse.5 -
When I share jokes posted on devRant with others people don't get it. If they get they don't find the humour.
Happy to have a community of geeks,nerds,weirdos,outsiders.2 -
DevRant is the only place where people can rant there way through to reach top upvote receiver.
Or is it not the 'only' place?2 -
I build an android app for a start-up. It took me 2 months to build that app. After I finished they didn't use the app as they started working on some different idea. They didn't even pay me for that app even after requesting many times..
Now after 1.5 years they have the audacity to come to me and ask me to work on a new Android app.
What should I do?5 -
I went to a machine learning meet up.. I asked every one over there to explain me K-means algorithm. I got K different answers, then I applied K-means algorithm on K different answers to form K clusters..1

I want to build an e-commerce website only for the developers. What features do you suggest? Any thought would be welcomed.7

I had this teacher who taught us some Web related course. She used say Java for Javascript. She felt both are same.1

I don't understand the phrase "once in a while".
If you execute something only “once“ then why you keep it in a “while“?10 -
Yes, I have got one to tell. I went to a hackathon where they started the hackathon with a spiritual speech and prayer. They didn't provide any WiFi, food, etc.
There was a canteen in the campus, which got closed in the evening by 7 o clock. The timings were not announced before so we worked whole night with empty stomach. Did I mention one was not allow to go outside the campus during the hackathon? And yes one was not allowed to order food from outside.4 -
Java
It's my favorite language because I started learning programming in Java when I was in school.
The most annoying thing in Java is I don't feel like writing System.out.println each time.12 -
Normal people don't understand this concept; they believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.
