@C0D4 oh, I microwave both my coffee AND tea... sometimes more than once.
-
I just had this in real life. The same bug was reintroduced by a junior dev. It was the same junior dev that pushed the bug the first time. Luckily, only 2 iterations so far.
-
I felt the same pain.
Now I have a script that semi-automatically installs CUDA and cuDNN. Hope the pain will not return in the future.
Probably the script stops working if I am going to switch to newer versions or need to setup on another distro. -
Looks tasty

Wait, I just remembered:

Now I'm really looking forward to the shitstorm.

You could learn and play Shogi. That's japanese chess.

Should have been phrased "Ubuntu helped girl to realize early that she is unfit for college."
-
Well, their README.md has an appropriate remark:
"This repo is monitored by the Windows Console engineering team, and provides a best-effort, informal support option for the community. Your patience is appreciated!" -
It sounds to me as if LFS becomes a pain in the arse as soon as you want to migrate your repos. With a more individual solution, like @Condor proposes, this is not an issue.
-
Just read about Git LFS the first time.
So, main features of are the local cache and parallel download after cloning. Anything I am missing? How does it handle updates to large files? -
- Design patterns are allowed and encouraged, but only if you reimplement their functionality with GOTO statements.

++ for mentioning broccoli during the swearing -- although i like it.

The surprise is the mummy hand.
-
This reminds my some of my clients that was seriously pissing me off. Unfortunately, not getting their shit together was their theme.
Good luck. Nice rant. -
@daemonAD Thanks, but my main device is not rooted.
-
@demortes Yes, they do. I believe every X frames, there is another full frame (depending on codec and configuration)
-
@demortes I assume Youtube recognizes still images or uses proper video encoding with variable bitrate to mitigate this. Also, data consumption is not an issue for me when on WiFi.
-
@-ANGRY-CLIENT- Sure tested Firefox. Mobile mode cannot do that and desktop mode suxx on older tablet (but works).
-
@demortes There are a lot of audio playlists with still images on yt. Since the content is available in the form/compilation I enjoy, there is no reason to switch to another service.
-
@Jantje19 Well, that's easier than expected. Still, I prefer using Newpipe as it allows to switch apps.
-
@electrineer Right, using audio mode is the no-brainer. Didn't see it the first time. Thanks.
-
Newpipe itself also stops playing when the display goes dark. But it works when configured to use an external video player, like MediaMonkey or whatever music player you're using.
@PrivateGER Thanks for the alternative. -
@nbamaral Thank, I'll try it
