@devios1 twos compliment is for integers and dealing with negative numbers :)
-
@devios1 casting from a floating point value to integer isn't just truncating though. They are stored in different ways. If you look at how floating point numbers are stored im binary (we did this at university and I still cant wrap my head around it) its very different to how an integer is stored.
-
@Root Yup. Round will be optimised compared to adding then casting
-
Would yield the same results but isn't exactly the same...
-
I do that 😁 atleast 3 sessions a week for atleast an hour a session

@timlyrics pretty cool but maybe put in some safeguards. @Sarcaxxo crashed it with a 0. I tried -1 but it seems to ignore the negative which is possibly good. Just check out that 0 bug. Shouldnt be hard... 0x0 = 0 and have all the bits off
-
@LastDigitOfPi yeah well twitter wont allow 1000 characters 😂

@devTea isn't point of devRant that devs rant?

Dammit... can only rant once ever 2 hours 🙄 really? Really now?

@elonmusk why didnt i think of that?
-
I have a dark theme on my slack :thinking-face:
-
@kamen using Xamarin and have shared code between different apps. The shared code is all in its own repos (5 of them)
-
@Alkotronikk i used a double regex last week for highlighting search results. First to add \s* between each character but not beginning or end and second to find all instances of the patten in a term 😁 sounds super complicated but worked out very elegant
-
@arcadesdude i always go to regex101 to create/mod my regex just to make sure my sanity is intact
